Story
We adopted this sweet old boy a year and a half ago, but his primary caregiver and person moved out and is unable to have him. He is happy to be outside most of the time, but he also likes a soft spot to bed down inside. We have a puppy who is too much energy for his taste, and he would do better at a home where he can chill out. One of the main issues is that he has diminished bladder capacity, so he needs to go out most nights and cannot be inside for too long during the day. If someone is around to let him in and out, no problem, but we are not. At night he is good about letting us know he needs to go out, and often is fine just staying outside except that sometimes he might see something and start barking, and we have close neighbors. I would love to find a better home for this sweet boy, especially as our schedule picks up. He is good with our kids. ❤️

Gunner may be 10 years old but that doesn't slow him down one bit with his puppy spirit and playful personality. He loves to have a good time playing fetch with balls, especially the squeaky ones, and having fun with his people. If you offer this happy boy some scratches he almost always cant resist. His previous owner noted that he may have separation anxiety so he may do best in a home where you don't have to leave him alone all day. Gunner having such a friendly personality and laid back demeanor means he does well with practically everyone, even cats! Gunner is very well behaved on a leash making him great for trails or small walks. With his charismatic and playful energy Gunner could make any house feel like a home.
