Meet Izzie. We are not sure she could get any cuter. Izzie has a soft sleek black coat with white markings on a long basset hound type body with short legs. Her head and ears however says their may be some beagle in the mix. She is long, lean, and petite. In that cute little package is a fun loving prancing pup with a lot of speed when zoomies kick in. She loves other dogs and plays great with all sizes. She is not a fan of having her picture taken. She is also not a fan of walking on leash so for that reason a yard would be best. She doesnt fight the leash she just lays down and stays put. We are working on it. She can be a little timid at first but settles in quickly. She would love a home where she could sleep in your bed curled up next to you... despite her short legs she can get on a standard bed or sofa. She is spayed, heartworm negative, up to date on vaccines and on flea, tick, heartworm prevention. Sweet Izzie weighs less than 30 pounds. She is being fostered in North Alabama but can travel to the right home.

Just like their namesakes, these two are happiest when they`re together, and they are looking for a forever home where they can continue life`s adventures side by side. While Spanky is the confident charmer and Darla is the shy sweetheart, together they make the perfect team. They must be adopted together because their bond is truly something special.Spanky is the outgoing half of this duo and wins hearts everywhere he goes. Chorizo is a super senior Basset mix estimated to be over 10 years old, with a heart as big as his adorable personality. This little 25-pound gentleman is a professional snuggler who loves nothing more than curling up in a soft orthopedic bed or being lifted into bed for a night of peaceful cuddling. Despite his age, Chorizo still has plenty of pep and absolutely loves going for walks, happily ambling about half a mile before climbing into his stroller to continue his adventure. He is friendly with everyone he meets, from new people to dogs and even little humans, and he has never met a stranger.Chorizo is a wonderfully well-mannered companion who has quickly settled into his foster home and seems to appreciate all the comforts of retirement. He gets along beautifully with other dogs and is particularly comfortable having a calm canine friend around, especially when his people leave the house. She is pure sweetness, the kind of dog who just wants to be close to you and soak up every bit of love she can get. And honestly? She's earned it. She's currently working through heartworm treatment, taking things slow and resting up — but she's handling it like a champ. Story
Rollie was surrendered after his owner died. He had never lived inside until he came into rescue. He is now house and crate trained. He does love to run and play and hide his bones outside. He had very little socialization with other dogs and is a little dog selective (prefers females more than males). He's more of a loner than most. He has always been crated inside to avoid the mischief a beagle tends to get into with chewing items he isn't supposed to be chewing. It is more for his safety of not swallowing anything harmful. He will bark to let you know when he needs to go potty. He has been completely vetted. He deserves a home of his own to retire in and enjoy the rest of his life. He is fostered in East TN, but transportation is included in the adoption fee and provided by Rescue Riders LLC. Please let me know if you have any questions.
