Size

Details
Not good with kids, Not good with dogs, Not good with cats, House-trained, Spayed or Neutered, Shots are up-to-date,
Story
Rollie was surrendered after his owner died. He had never lived inside until he came into rescue. He is now house and crate trained. He does love to run and play and hide his bones outside. He had very little socialization with other dogs and is a little dog selective (prefers females more than males). He's more of a loner than most. He has always been crated inside to avoid the mischief a beagle tends to get into with chewing items he isn't supposed to be chewing. It is more for his safety of not swallowing anything harmful. He will bark to let you know when he needs to go potty. He has been completely vetted. He deserves a home of his own to retire in and enjoy the rest of his life. He is fostered in East TN, but transportation is included in the adoption fee and provided by Rescue Riders LLC. Please let me know if you have any questions. Please email us for the link to the adoption application.

Story
Meet Chip! Chip is an energetic guy who is always ready for his next adventure! He loves being outside and enjoys every opportunity to run, explore, and stay active. Chip would do best in a home with a fenced in backyard where he can stretch his legs, burn off energy, and enjoy the outdoors to the fullest. He loves taking in all the sights, sounds, and smells around him and is always eager to see what his nose will discover next. Whether he's exploring a new trial, going for long walks, or simply spending time outside with his people, Chip loves being on the move. He would love a family that enjoys adventures and enjoys the outdoors just as much as he does! Because Chip can become overstimulated at times, he would do best with a family that can help him stay focused and provide him with structure and outlets for his energy. Chip would do best in a home with older children who match his energy and understand his maturity level, and he would prefer a home without cats. If you're looking for an active companion to share your outdoor adventures with, Chip may be the perfect match for you! If you're interested in meeting Chip, Stop by the shelter today!

Story
🐾 Meet Chance 🐾 Some dogs are given a name that fits them perfectly, and Chance is one of them. This sweet 5-year-old Beagle mix received his name because he was given a second chance at life—and he has embraced it with his whole heart. Despite everything he's been through, Chance has never lost his love for people. His tail still wags, his eyes still light up when he sees you, and he still believes that his forever family is out there waiting for him. Chance is one of the sweetest dogs you'll ever meet. He loves attention, enjoys spending time with his people, and has a gentle, loving personality that makes it impossible not to fall in love with him. Chance is currently heartworm positive, but that doesn't define who he is. He is receiving treatment and deserves the comfort of a loving home while he completes his journey to recovery. His future is bright, and all he needs now is someone willing to give him the love and security he has always deserved. ❤️ Chance was given a second chance at life. Could you be the one to give him his second chance at a forever home?

Story
Meet Butch Cassidy, a 2 year old 18 lbs. He spent more than six months roaming the streets of a small town with his sidekick, Sundance Kid. When Butch was finally live-trapped, he discovered just how wonderful life could be in a foster home. Regular meals, a warm bed, and plenty of TLC have shown Butch that people can be pretty great! Butch especially loves having a lap to curl up on and simply being around his humans. This sweet boy would make a wonderful companion dog but must go into a home with a very secure fence. He's patiently waiting for someone to give him the loving forever home he deserves. Butches adoption fee has been sponsored by one of our supporters with the rescue. . Augusta Dog Adoptions is an all- volunteer, foster- based rescue. We take applications online and schedule individual adoptions in Waynesboro, VA. A $175.00 adoption fee ($300 for puppies under 6 months old) helps us take care of all the dogs we rescue. All dogs are spayed/neutered, tested for heartworm and tick-borne diseases (if old enough), microchipped, and vaccinated for rabies (if old enough), distemper/parvo and bordetella. They are also treated for internal and external parasites. Many dogs also receive extensive medical care such as dental work and major surgeries.
