Meet Kali—a lovable, loyal little lady with a big personality! Kali is the perfect blend of curious and cuddly. She’s an explorer at heart and enjoys checking out her surroundings, but she’s no troublemaker—Kali does great at home even when left alone. True to her dachshund roots, she’s got a strong prey drive and loves chasing birds or the occasional feral cat, so she’ll do best in a home without small pets like cats, guinea pigs, or reptiles. Kali lives for park days and adores playing chase with her doggie pals. She’d thrive in a home with a secure backyard (she is part dachshund, after all—digging is in her DNA!) and would love a furry sibling to hang out with while her humans are away. She gets along well with other dogs her size. Kali isn’t shy about expressing herself—if she thinks she’s missing out on the fun, she’ll let you know with a few vocal opinions. :) When the day winds down, Kali transforms into a total cuddlebug. She’ll gently nuzzle in close, letting you know she’s ready for some cozy snuggles and a little extra love. Sweet Gretel is a playful, happy puppy that loves to be with people and play with other pups. She also loves to swim and will even jump in the pool all by herself. She meets new friends well and loves to play chase in the cool grass in the mornings. She also loves to snuggle with you and lay at your feet when you're sitting at the table. She and her brother were rescued from a dirt road where they were left to fend for themselves. Since coming to the rescue, she has been so grateful for simple things like her soft bed and plenty of food. She is such a sweetheart and will bring joy to her forever home.
