Story
Jake was my dad‘s dog, but my dad passed away a couple of months ago and now I’m needing to find him a new home. I have two dogs now and I don’t have room for him. Jake is very sweet and loyal to his owners. He has been formally trained and knows simple commands such as come, sit, stay and is potty trained. He really enjoys a backyard if possible. He is energetic and loves to play! He is good with small dogs, but sometimes struggles with big dogs. He can get a little anxious during storms and finicky around strangers. Right now, he lives with another small dog and they get along great. He doesn’t do great going on walks, but does great in a backyard or in the house. He has a growth on his face, but it’s benign and doesn’t seem to bother him. Please help find him a new home! My dad didn’t want him to go to a shelter, so I am desperate to find him a good home.

This poor beautiful skinny mom was taken away from her babies. The babies were put in plastic bin on hot summer day and dumped in a driveway. Story
Meet Cagney! 🐾 Cagney is a sweet 7-year-old Beagle mix weighing about 25 pounds. With her silky smooth coat and adorable floppy ears, she’s as cute as she is affectionate. If you’re looking for a dog who loves her people, Cagney is your girl! One of her favorite things is being petted, and she’ll gently press her head into you to ask for more love and attention. Cagney is fully house-trained and has great potty manners. She has learned the routine by following her foster siblings outside and will let you know when she’s ready to come back in by barking or scratching at the door. Like many dogs, she may be a little shy in a new environment and appreciates seeing familiar faces while she settles into her potty routine. She enjoys playing and loves chasing her canine friends around the yard. Cagney has a confident personality and likes to be in charge, so she’d do best with a playful, easygoing dog who doesn’t mind letting her be the boss. She’s smart enough to respect the boundaries of larger dogs, too! Cagney absolutely adores people and thrives on affection. If she sees another dog getting attention, she’ll happily come over to remind you that she’d like some love, too! Because she was used to sleeping with her previous owner, Cagney can have a little separation anxiety as she adjusts to a new home. She’s doing well in foster care and has been learning new routines, but she’d love a family that’s willing to give her a little extra patience and reassurance while she settles in. She does have a big Beagle voice, but she mainly uses it during playtime or if she hears something interesting outside. Since she hasn’t been around cats in her foster home, we don’t know how she’d do with feline friends. If you’re looking for a loyal companion who loves cuddles, enjoys a little playtime, and wants nothing more than to be close to her people, Cagney is ready to meet you!

Story
Meet Izzi!💗 This adorable 1.5 year old girl recently came to us after her owner made the heartbreaking but loving decision to ask for help when she realized she could no longer care for herself or provide Izzi with the life she deserved. That kind of selfless love is never easy, and we are honored to help Izzi find her next chapter. Izzi is sweet, silly, affectionate, and guaranteed to make you laugh with the best little prairie dog impression you’ve ever seen! She loves being close to her people and fully embraces her role as a Velcro dog — if you’re looking for a loyal sidekick who wants to be involved in everything you do, Izzi is your girl. She also enjoys hanging out with other pups and would love a home where she can soak up attention, cuddles, and companionship. Izzi is spayed, microchipped, up to date on vaccines, and officially ready to find the forever family she deserves. Could that be you? 🩷
