You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.  Please met Jax, a sweet, loveable 10 1/2 year old senior who recently came to BRAT when his owner relocated to another town and didn’t think it was fair for Jax to spend so much time alone. Jax has enjoyed being with the other dogs in his foster home, loves meeting new people, rides well in the car, and is crate and house trained. He is a smart little guy who learned to use the doggie door after being shown one time! Snuggling on the couch with his head in your lap is his favorite pastime time. Snickers Bar is looking for a loving foster home where they can rest and recover while receiving medical treatment. Reason for Foster: Upper Respiratory Infection (URI) Foster Time Frame: Approximately 2 weeks(The foster timeframe may vary depending on recovery and any follow-up medical needs.) Foster Care Plan: Snickers Bar is being treated for an upper respiratory infection, which is similar to a common cold. While recovering, they may have symptoms such as sneezing, congestion, and nasal/eye discharge. Because URI can be contagious to other dogs, we recommend keeping them separated from resident dogs until they have fully recovered. A small, quiet space such as a spare bathroom or bedroom works well for recovery.They will go home with medication and all the supplies needed for their care. Once treatment is complete, they will return to Operation Kindness for adoption.How to take this pet home:Adopt: Snickers is available through our Foster-to-Adopt Program, which allows prospective adopters to take pets home before they are available for adoption.Visit Operation Kindness and speak with our Client Services team. Foster-to-Adopt placements are first-come, first-served.Foster: Interested in fostering this pet? Email foster@operationkindness.org.
