Story
Libbie is a very sweet and beautiful dog. She is great with children and is fully potty trained. It breaks my heart to let her go, but she deserves a better life than the one I am able to give her at the moment. She is not aggressive and rarely barks; she only makes noise when she needs to go outside to use the bathroom. She does well with other dogs. I am not completely sure how she is with cats, but my aunt cared for her for a period of time and she has cats, and she never mentioned any issues. Libbie can be a bit fearful, especially when she goes outside and sees cars passing by. Because of her calm nature, she would be a great companion for an older person. However, she does not like car rides and gets scared during car trips.

Story
Thank you so much for your interest in Ms. Zoey. She is still available for adoption, and her adoption fee is $300. Ms. Zoey is an 8‑year‑old Beagle weighing about 31 lbs. She’s a gentle, calm-natured girl who has done well around other dogs during her time with us. Ms. Zoey was recently rehomed to a family with cats, but unfortunately the cats were not kind to her, and it became clear she needed a more suitable, stress‑free environment. She can be a little shy at first, but we truly believe that’s simply her reacting to the shelter setting — once she feels safe, her sweet personality comes forward. She keeps her kennel very clean here, which is always a promising sign, and she absolutely loves to sunbathe in the yard during her potty breaks. It’s one of her favorite little joys.Because we don’t observe our animals in home settings, we aren’t able to guarantee whether they are housebroken.Upon intake, every animal receives:Spay/neuter surgeryMicrochipAll age-appropriate vaccinationsBlood and fecal testing (with treatment if needed)Flea, tick, and heartworm preventionA complimentary wellness exam 7–10 days after adoptionPlease note that adopters must be at least 21 years old and live within an hour of our facility. If you’d like to learn more about Ms. Zoey or schedule a time to meet her, I’d be happy to help. She’s a lovely girl who deserves a peaceful home where she can relax, feel loved, and enjoy her golden years. 🐾✨
