The person who found them took them home for a day before bringing them to the shelter. MARIGOLD was terrified by the shelter intake process and was placed in isolation kennels due to alligator rolling and needing to DECOMPRESS. She is staying as far away from staff as she can and is ACTIVELY TREMBLING. The staff want her out so she can recover. She is, no doubt, under extreme mental distress at the shelter. PLEASE HELP HER The finder was able to pick her up and put her in the car. She is NOT rescue only so she can be responsibly ADOPTED or she can be FOSTERED for a rescue if you can offer her stability and commitment until she gets her Furever home. MARIGOLD is listed as a female, tan Beagle and Pittie mix of about years old weighing 38lbs.   ##2807366##

Welcome Cosmo to CCPAL Rescue. Cosmo is an Dachshund/Beagle is our best guess. He is about 18 pounds now and should be small sized full grown. We think 25 full grown. He is very sweet, has good eye contact and has a soft coat and down ears. He is active and the group is vocal but not over the top. He is one of the shyer pups and would be great for a family or person that is moderate to less active. He won’t be the social butterfly but will be a fantastic companion pet for someone. If a person is a quieter person wanting an easy and loveable pup that is content being with you, this is your match. A person that does not work all day every day for 5 days a week is the best for a puppy. Someone that can work from home some or has partial days or some days off to spend to help your new puppy acclimate is best. You need time to be with your puppy to socialize them and to finish off their puppy training. Cosmo was very easy to handle taking his photos and he wasn’t afraid of new people and liked being held. He sat on the table with confidence while we worked with him. He is getting daily attention and holding at the Rescue. He is getting his DHPP vaccinations and dewormed. He is good in his play group. He is kenneled in the evening and is learning to go potty on a wee pad. He is currently at the CCPAL Rescue in Texas and can be adopted locally or we can work with one of the wonderful transporters to get him to Washington, Portland, Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. He would be fine with children. We like them to be 8 or older. His adoption fee is $400 and transport is $200. Rhode Island and Massachusetts are not states we adopt to because of the regulations imposed by these states.

This dazzling creature in the photo is Odie, whom we serve at the association. Odie asks us to tell you that it is perfectly fine if you want to admire him for a while; he understands that it's hard to resist his charms. His Majesty isn't going to pretend to be ordinary. When the royal astronomer came to read the planets at the monarch's request, he indicated that our King Odie is destined to become more handsome and majestic every day, thanks to having fun with his favorite toys (he hopes you'll buy him one of those that go "quack, quack"), riding in a carriage -hummm…car- (he's willing to behave himself during the ride), and receiving his (large, please!) daily dose of affection. Hi, I am Nugget! I am a smart, confident dog who loves to stay active. Off-leash play with other dogs is my favorite, though I am still learning not to be reactive on-leash. I already know lots of commands and have great manners -- I even wait for the signal before eating. I enjoy running, searching for hidden treats, and playing with toys, bones, and sticks. Car rides to the beach are the best, especially when I can dash through the sand and splash in the waves. I get along with cats and enjoy affection, though I am not a cuddle bug. However, he manages his daily life wonderfully without any major issues! 2⃣ Rescue Story * Bongsik entered the Gimje Shelter last summer after being caught in a trap. He underwent surgery to amputate his injured leg. Heartbroken by his tragic story, Adogs stepped in to rescue him and give him a second chance at life. 3⃣ Personality & Characteristics * Interaction with Humans: Is very shy and fearful around people, and it may take a significant amount of time to get close to him. While he tends to dodge or run away initially, he slowly allows physical touch once he gets used to you. Will also occasionally approach you to accept tasty treats! * Interaction with Dogs: Gets along wonderfully with his friends at the center. Is very patient and playful with younger puppies and matches the energy of active dogs well. * Interaction with Cats: Doesn't pay much attention to cats and remains largely indifferent when he sees them. * Separation Anxiety: Since he is currently living in a group environment at the center, it is difficult to accurately assess. * Potty Training: Currently uses indoor potty areas at the center and does very well on pee pads. Does not have a habit of marking. * Motion Sickness: Has shown no signs of car sickness during short-distance rides. * Biting/Aggression: Is a gentle, sweet soul who has shown absolutely no biting tendencies. * Barking: Has not shown any barking behavior at the center. Traing may be necessary in a new home environment. * Likes: Absolutely loves treats! * Dislikes: Is very timid and easily startled by loud noises. * Personality: Is a fearful boy who tends to run away from people at first, so he needs a family that will give him plenty of time and space to warm up. Animal Information: Veronica is a 10-month-old 23 lb now spayed female scruffy mixed breed who was confiscated at just 6-weeks-old from a property with over forty dogs and held for investigation at County of Hawaii Animal Control.
