Story
Kisa: Elder Sweetheart Seeking a Lap to Land On 🐾 I’m Kisa, a 14-year-old Siamese-mix sweetheart. My mom went to the hospital and isn't coming home, so I’m looking for a final cozy spot to call my own. I am a professional cuddler! I’m quiet, dog-friendly, and my absolute favorite thing is nesting on a warm lap or chest. I’m mostly calm, though I still love the occasional laser pointer chase. The Realities: I’m a "senior with quirks." I always pee in my litterbox, but I usually prefer pee pads for pooping. I sometimes pull out small chunks of my fur when restless, and I can be scratchy with furniture when I’m excited. Health: I have a growth on my colon (suspected lymphoma) and take daily Prednisone. I need a gentle owner who can keep an eye on my digestion and bowel movements. I know I’m a "special ask," but I have so much love to give. If you have an open heart and a spare lap for my golden years, I can’t wait to meet you! Love, Kisa

Story
Meet Rebel! She came from a litter that was previously born in a foster home. Outlaw, Rebel and Rowdy are all absolute loves and purr machines. Whether it`s having a good bounce and play with their feather toys, snuggling up for nap time, or stretching out in the hammock. Rebel is considered a special needs adoption as has been previously diagnosed with some gum inflammation when she was about 6 months old. As she was growing into her adult teeth, it may have been the cause of previous gingivitis. While it has been treated here, it doesn`t seem to bother her. However, we cannot guarantee that this condition may not recur in the future. Rebel is bound to be a lifetime of fun and bring joy to a family that is looking for an energetic little lady such as herself! She`s hoping to find a place where she can feel most at home. Want to meet Rebel? you can send in an application to capeannanimalaid.org/catapp

Story
Meet Pudding! This big guy was picked up as a stray back in 2019, not much is known about his life before that. He was adopted out all those years ago but has made his way back to us, his family loved him but unfortunately Pudding wasn`t too fond of his feline brother and had to come spend some time with us, that is until he found you! Pudding hasn`t spent too much time with us here, and it`s safe to say he isn`t a fan of all the crazy commotion that shelter life brings. Pudding would do best in a quiet home without any other pets. He’s considered special needs because he`s believed to have had a polyp in his ear at some point, which caused him to have a slight head tilt, he also is FIV positive. Interested in having this big guy in your home, please stop on by and see if you have a connection!Great news! We extended our New Year`s adoption special and waived the adoption fee for Pudding to help him find his forever home soon!Apply for Pudding today: capeannanimalaid.org/catapp
