Story
This is Tiger Taska. He is a 6 year old healthy male cat with big double paws. My father passed away in December 2022, at the age of 93. He and Tiger were the best of friends. He asked that I take Tiger if anything should happen to him. I have two 11 year old cats and a 10 year old dog in my home. He adores the dog and is pretty tolerant with one cat but is out to get the other. Fights have been pretty intense and they have to be kept separated. I have done my best for over a year now but nothing has changed. My father was an animal lover and would not want this unhappy situation. That being said I have no other choice than to give Tiger to someone who can provide him with a loving home.

Story
Meet Chloe! A twelve year old female who is soft-spoken, sophisticated and ready to start anew. She spent her life in a home with another cat and would likely tolerate another. With that being said, she wouldn't mind finally being the star of the show and getting all the love and attention. Chloe prefers to stay clear of the hustle and bustle, and because of this, would enjoy a quieter, low traffic home to live out her retirement years. Chloe can be reserved at first, but with a little patience, she will wiggle her way into your heart as she leans into pets and bakes you a fresh tin of muffins. She is still relatively playful and often seeks attention from her devoted staff here at CAAA. As an older cat, Chloe would benefit from a close relationship with a vet to make sure she continues to age gracefully. As part of our extended stay program, Chloe's adoption fee has been waived! If you'd like to learn more about Chloe and witness her stunning good looks in person, apply today! If you are interested in adopting/fostering to adopt, submit an application online at CapeAnnAnimalAid.org/Adopt

Meet Quinnie - like all hardworking moms, she loves some time to herself and a good nap in a comfy spot where she can overlook her domain! Quinnie has been very busy raising her two rambunctious babies Sabor and Biscuits, so her personality may continue to grow and show itself in her new home. Although she's not usually a lap cat, she's very affectionate and low energy and loves to take naps nearby while you're working. This sweet girl will be the perfect addition to any family!Fill out an application for me at capeannanimalaid.org/adopt

Story
I got Marie in October 6 years ago at NE shelter in Salem MA. Mitzy, Sugar and Cookie from Melrose humane 5 years ago. They are the most loveable cats and friendly. The tiny one (Sugar) could be skidish as well as her sister Cookie. They look exactly alike but Sugar has the white tip on her tail. These cats had so much love in our family and it hurts to rehome them so I would like the next family to love them as much as we do. My children adored them and they adored my kids. Each had their own favorite they would sleep with at night. My older son is very allergic and we tried to make it work and he would rather suffer than rehome our babies..but it's getting harder for him and I also will not be able to take them to my next location as we are selling our home. Please give these babies so much love, they are amazing, happy loveable little girls.

Story
Hello, I'm Buster, your future confidante. You see, I've been known to be a one-human cat. My last human? Well, they decided to join a rock band. You'd think they'd take me along, right? No, the drummer was allergic. So, here I am, stuck at this shelter while they're probably out there, off-key and all. Not a fan of other pets, they're too noisy. And loud noises? They're for the birds! Or dogs. Definitely not for sophisticated felines like myself. I'm the perfect companion for a quiet home, where I can offer my undivided loyalty and playful cuddles. Adopt me, and I promise to make our home a rock-band-free zone!Every PALS cat and kitten has been spayed/neutered, microchipped, tested negative for FeLV/FIV and is up-to-date on vaccinations. A note about kittens: if you are adopting a kitten, they may need to complete their FVRCP (distemper) series and may not be old enough for their rabies vaccination. These essential vaccines will be the responsibility of their new owner. Detailed vet records and a calendar of vaccination due dates will be provided. The PALS Adoption Center, located inside PetSmart at 10 Traders Way in Salem, MA (just off Highland Ave/Rte 107) BY APPOINTMENT ONLY TO APPROVED ADOPTERS.  Adoption applications can be found online at www.palscats.org.  A completed application is not necessarily an approved application. We do ask for written landlord approval if you rent, or proof of home ownership (water bill, etc.) We will also check your vet references.  You will be contacted by our adoption staff once your application has been approved.  Please note it can take up to 48 hours. Our online sites are updated regularly, but we can not guarantee that a cat you see here is still available. Please email if you have any questions regarding the adoption process or our available cats and kittens. PALS is an all-volunteer, no-kill rescue group. Each and every cat and kitten has been rescued locally. April 25, 2024, 11:53 am

Hello, I'm Martin, your potential new best friend! I'm a smart, mellow fellow who loves to play and interact. I can solve puzzles, chase toys, and I'm always up for a good cuddle. I'm a stray who's found his way to a shelter, but I'm ready to find my forever home. Why should you adopt me? I'm not just a cat, I'm a companion. I'm the playful, loving friend you didn't know you needed. I promise to fill your life with laughter, joy, and unconditional love. Adopt me, and let's start our beautiful journey together.
