Story
Cora came to live with me as a kitten from the Animal Adoption League almost 7 years ago. She was part of a large litter that was found under an overpass on I-485 in Charlotte, NC. She and her siblings were given names based on characters from Downton Abbey and I loved the name "Cora", so I kept the name and it seems to fit her. She loves to be with her "human" and this is ultimately why I am looking to rehome her. My busy lifestyle makes it very difficult for me to be home with her as much as she would prefer. Her ideal home would be with someone who is either retired or someone who works remotely and can devote more time to her. When I was working remotely, she would sleep in my office and then make an appearance in the background of almost every Zoom call. She love to Facetime and she's very vocal. She likes to "help" make the bed, lounge in the sunlight streaming in through the windows and at Christmas, she would rather sleep under the tree than mess with it.
