I came to Big Dog Ranch as a breeder release after spending my whole life in heartbreaking conditions, used over and over for puppies and rarely touched with kindness. I don’t know what it feels like to be part of a family, and I’ve never even had a leash clipped onto me. The world outside my cage is completely new and sometimes scary. It may take me months to understand that hands can be gentle and homes can be safe, but deep down I’m hoping someone will give me the patience and love I’ve never had. With the right person, I know I can finally learn what it means to be more than a number… to be loved.

Meet Bula, a 7lb - 6 year old Havanese-Pomeranian mix with a big heart and gentle soul. He is affectionate, people oriented.and truly thrives when he can be someones main focus. He would do best in a single pet home, as he prefers not to share his space with other animals. In his current home, he struggles with having another dog around and would be much happier in a calm environment where he can feel secure and relaxed. Bula is sweet, attentive, and loves companionship. He is ideal for someone who wants a loyal little dog to dote on and who enjoys giving their pet plenty of attention. This rehoming decision has been extremely hard - as I have been Bulas mom since he was only 8 weeks old. the decision is being made out of love, with his best interests in mind, to give him the peaceful, happy life he deserves.
