Story
They don't come much cuter than this sweet little guy. Harrison is a Havanese mix, and is currently in a foster home. He lives with other small dogs, and is working on his housebreaking and basic obedience skills. Harrison is full of love, and a true joy to be with. He is always happy and ready for fun. He is still a puppy so according to his foster mom he will get into things and chew if unsupervised. Harrison will require regular grooming as part of his care. His foster mom wants him to have a fenced yard and older children only in his new home.DOB 2/22/25 9 PoundsI'm waiting for a home to call my own. email webmaster@petrefuge.com to learn more about me or fill out an application at https://www.petrefuge.com/adoptPet Refuge was formed in 1978 to help with cats and dogs in need of homes. Story
Roxanne is a 3 year old Havanese that was surrendered by a breeding facility when they no longer had a use for her. She takes her time warming up and will need someone to have patience with her. She currently lives with 2 small dogs, one large dog, 3 cats and kids 10+ and she does well with everyone! She is mostly potty trained via doggy door but had no prior training, so she's a work in progress. (No poop accidents but the occasional pee). Once she is given the time to adjust, she becomes a sweet loving cuddle bug. Despite being scared in the first week, Roxanne has never shown a single sign of aggression. She is going to make a wonderful loving pet when she realizes she is loved and safe. Roxanne can't wait to find a bed to curl up in, do you have room for this girl?  If you are viewing this pet's profile on Petfinder or Adopt-a-Pet,.please use the application link at the bottom of the profile to apply. Story
Havanese Harry came to us from a breeding kennel who relinquished him by no fault of his own. This is an extremely sweet boy who is good with people & other dogs. He would benefit from some basic obedience and confidence building because he is young & timid. His birth date is 10/25/23 he weighs 7.4# full grown. He is in foster & house trained! He has been vet. checked, neutered, micro chipped, is up to date on routine shots & wormings including rabies, and has been treated with flea & heart worm preventative per our protocol. He has had a dental and is heart worm and tick illness negative. His adoption donation is $500 and needs to be cash, certified check, money order or a debit/credit card. There is a 3% processing fee when using a debit/credit card.  Any extra funds collected in his adoption donation not used for his vetting, will go into our general vetting fund for other dogs in need. We do not ship or transport. Please email for an application if you would like to provide this nice kid with his forever home. ##2196110##

Story
Havanese Mix Hank was relinquished by no fault of his own. This is a nice boy who is good with other dogs & with people. He is very sweet but would benefit from some basic obedience and confidence building. His approx. birth date is 09/09/24 and he currently weighs 5.8#. He likes to talk and probably not the best dog for shared walls. No small children please due to his small size. We are guessing at his breed make up. He has been vet. checked, neutered, micro chipped, is up to date on routine shots & wormings including rabies, and has been treated with flea & heart worm preventative per our protocol. He is heart worm and tick born illness negative. His adoption donation is $500 and needs to be cash, certified check, money order or a debit/credit card. There is a 3% processing fee when using a debit/credit card. Please note that any additional funding collected for this pet goes back into our medical acct. to provide for other dogs in need. We do not ship or transport. Please email for an application if you would like to provide this nice kid with his forever home. ##2510909##

Story
Dylan is a tiny little puppy know as a Havamalt, a Havanese and Maltese pup. He is a spirited little guy who will start out a bit shy. He was born in a commercial breeding facility and dogs not have the same puppy experiences a dog might have that was born in your home. He wasn't exposed to the same things at an early age. That being said, he is learning and adjusting well now that he is with us. He is a happy guy who loves to play with his mates. He will need house training and regular training like any puppy would. He does like to vocalize so he will be best suited for a home rather than an apartment or condo setting. Dylan is a little guy causing him to be more fragile, He can't be in a home with little kids but would be fine with older kids. Like all puppies, he will need structure and a patient, loving home. We recommend training for all puppies—not only to give Dylan important learning skills, but because you and your puppy will create a stronger bond just by going through the training together. Dylan is fully vetted. He has been neutered, received age-appropriate vaccines, and is microchipped. Subsequent vaccines will be at the expense of his adopter. His adoption donation is $1200..00. He is on the hunt for his own completely committed family. Little dogs can live to be 20+ years old, so Dylan wants to be sure his family is all in for better or for worse! IF INTERESTED IN A PUPPY (UNDER 9 MONTHS): You must have a very flexible work schedule or someone home all day. Puppies need to be let out to potty often. They need socialization, bonding, and training (housetraining and behavioral training). If you work long hours, have a busy social schedule, or are not financially secure, then a puppy is not for you. We adopt in and to the local Chicago metro area. We require home visits. If you would like to apply to be considered as an adoption candidate, please fill out an application for adoption on our website at: https://www.rescuetailsanimalwelfare.org/info/adoption We are all volunteers with full-time jobs. We try to get back to all applicants within 72 hours. If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to us via emial/ Do not call. There is no one to answer a phone, RescueTailsAnimalWelfare@gmail.com. Rescue Tails Animal Welfare is an in home volunteer foster based rescue. We are not a brick and mortar. There is no building to visit If you aren’t looking to adopt but still would like to help, please consider a donation for his food, housing, and veterinary care. Story
We would love to introduce you to China! She is almost eleven years young, is spayed, weighs about 25ish pounds and she is available for adoption! Since she is living in a foster home, the first step for you would be to email us at pets@michianapets.org to request an application. Once China feels safe with someone, the bond she has for them is so strong. She would be the absolute best friend to someone who needs a loyal companion. Since China is more introverted, a quiet home would suit her best. Her foster mom is retired and China loves that she gets to spend most of her day with her. She asks that whoever adopts her is patient while she is acclimating in the home and is learning the ropes of being house-trained. Even though China is technically a senior, she is very playful and active! She loves squeaky toys. Her foster mom is teaching her that it is okay to share her toys! She has lived with other dogs throughout her life and currently has several dog foster-siblings around her size, give or take. Kiddos should be around 11ish and older. China is such a happy sweetheart once she is adjusted. She will follow you like a shadow and will take any opportunity to snuggle close. She for sure will make a lucky person or two feel like they are the most important beings in the world.
