He adores people, enjoys kids who understand how to be gentle with an older dog, and has a special appreciation for cozy dog beds and toys. His calm, patient nature makes him an easy companion and a joy to have around. Stanley is missing his teeth and has limited hearing—but none of that slows down his ability to give and receive love. He’s happiest lounging nearby, soaking up affection, and enjoying the simple comforts of home. Stanley would thrive in a caring home that understands and cherishes senior dogs, ideally with older children who respect his age. If you’re looking for a low-key, loving companion, Stanley is ready to steal your heart. Stop by our weekly adoption events on Saturdays from 12-4 pm at 372 Townline Road in Mundelein, IL 60060 to meet our adoptable animals in person.
