Story
Meet this sweet, sunshine loving girl Sadie may be a little shy at first, but give her about five minutes and you’ll see her true personality shine. Once she warms up, she becomes incredibly affectionate, will follow you from room to room, happily hopping into your lap, and showering you with kisses. At night, her favorite place is curled up in the crook of your arm, soaking up all the comfort and closeness she can get. She came to us from a shelter in rough condition, with severe matting that had to be shaved out, leaving her with some sensitive skin as she heals. Despite her past, she has shown nothing but resilience and a gentle, loving spirit. Her absolute favorite thing in the world is being outside in the sun. Sadie would happily spend all day sunbathing or perched by a window like a little cat, just watching the world go by. She is wonderful with our 2 year old toddler. She is patient, gentle, and even happy to sit in his lap. She also does well with cats and has shown no aggression. She would likely do best as the only dog or with a very calm canine companion, as she is still learning to feel comfortable around other dogs and can be a bit selective (she hasn’t enjoyed being around our standard poodle). She is partially house trained. She does well with peeing outside but is still learning when it comes to pooping outdoors. She will benefit from continued consistency and basic training in her forever home. She forms strong bonds with her people and can be a bit protective/territorial of them, so she would do best with a family who understands her need for security and can continue building her confidence in a positive, structured way.

Story
Charm truly lives up to his name. This happy-go-lucky pup approaches life with a cheerful spirit and a wagging tail, always ready to see what fun the day might bring. He’s still settling into home life and learning the ropes, including leash manners, navigating a house routine, and getting comfortable in outside social environments. Like many young dogs, he’s still figuring out the world around him, but he’s making progress and learning a little more each day. Charm also shows some of the typical traits often seen in Poodle mixes—he’s smart, energetic, and very people-oriented. Because of that, he can sometimes experience a bit of anxiety or separation anxiety, which his foster family is currently working on. With continued structure, training, and reassurance, he is expected to keep improving. This lively boy will do best with a family who understands that active, intelligent dogs need both physical exercise and mental engagement. With patience, consistency, and lots of love, Charm is sure to grow into the wonderful companion his name promises.
