Story
Name: Gigi Age: Around 8 years old (Estimated to be born 2018) Gender: Female (Spayed) Breed: Mini Poodle Color: Brown Weight: 4.2kg / 9.2lbs    MY RESCUE STORY  I was rescued from an abusive environment where I was used as a grooming practice dog. Instead of being loved as a companion, I was treated like a mannequin for people to practice haircuts on. Thankfully, those difficult days are now behind me. I was rescued by kind people who showed me the care and compassion I had always deserved. Now, I'm ready to leave my past behind and begin a new chapter filled with love, comfort, and happiness. All I'm missing is a forever family to call my own.    MY HEALTH  All vaccinations up-to-date Spayed & healthy with no known health issues    MY PERSONALITY  I can be a little shy when we first meet, but I warm up quickly with a little patience and kindness. I'm an adorable Mini Poodle with so much love to give, and the volunteers and staff can already see my incredible potential. They believe that once I find my forever family and feel safe, I'll blossom into the ultimate cuddle bug who loves nothing more than curling up on your lap for snuggles. Despite my difficult past, I've remained a sweet, gentle girl with a loving heart that's just waiting for the right family to help it shine.    MY SOCIAL SKILLS  · With People: I can be a little shy when we first meet, but it doesn't take much to win me over. A few tasty treats, gentle words, and a little patience are often all I need to start building trust. Once I feel safe, my sweet and affectionate personality begins to shine. I love receiving gentle pets, will happily roll over to show you my belly, and enjoy spending quiet time close to my favorite people. I'm comfortable being picked up when supported properly under my belly and remain calm while being held. The volunteers and staff believe that once I settle into my forever home, I'll blossom into a wonderfully loving companion. · With Dogs: I generally get along best with dogs that are similar in size or smaller than me. While I'm friendly and polite when meeting new canine friends, I'm more independent by nature and usually prefer to do my own thing rather than join in on playtime. I'm happy simply sharing the space and enjoying everyone's company. · With Cats: My reaction to cats is unknown. A cat test can be arranged to ensure the best fit!    ENERGY LEVEL & ACTIVITY  I have a moderate energy level and enjoy spending time outdoors, whether it's exploring, sniffing around, or simply taking in all the interesting sights and smells. I'm happiest with leisurely walks where I can explore the world at my own pace. Once I've had my outdoor adventure, I'm more than happy to come home, curl up, and relax quietly by your side for the rest of the day.    TRAINING & HABITS  I'm still learning my leash manners and may pull a little at times, but I generally do a great job following my handler's lead. I feel most confident walking in quieter areas, as loud or sudden noises can startle me. With patient encouragement and positive experiences, I'm becoming more confident every day. I don't guard my food from either people or other dogs, and I settle calmly in my kennel. I currently don't show signs of separation anxiety, though because I enjoy being close to the people I trust, I may need a little time to adjust as we build our bond. For potty habits, I use both pee pads indoors and go potty outdoors, making me adaptable to different routines.    MY IDEAL HOME  I’m searching for a patient, loving family who can help me become the best version of myself. I’ll thrive in a home with: A family that will provide me with a safe haven – where I can decompress, be myself in a stable environment A family that understands my past and is patient with me throughout A family that enjoys indoor and outdoor time together A family that will love and cherish me forever A patient family who will let me build confidence at my own pace as I come out of my shell.     SPECIAL NOTES  If you've been looking for a mellow, sweet Mini Poodle, look no further! I'm an adorable little girl with a gentle heart who doesn't ask for much. More than anything, I simply want to be close to my people and enjoy a peaceful life together. I may be a little shy when we first meet, but I warm up quickly with a little patience and kindness. Despite everything I've been through, I've never lost my trust in people or my desire to love. The volunteers and staff know that once I feel safe in my forever home, I'll blossom into a loyal little shadow who will happily spend her days cuddling by your side.    GIGI'S YOUTUBE PLAYLIST   Apply to foster or adopt: https://www.welcomedogkorea.org For Inquiries: info@welcomedogkorea.com ##2811301##

Story
When Mulberry was captured by urban management, he was not in pretty shape - he had a cataract in his eye, his fur was matted, long, and dirty. We suspect he was abandoned by his owner due to his old age and eye problem. One day Mulberry couldn't get up from his crate, he was immediately taken to the vet and we found out he had pancreatitis. After his care ended, someone said they would adopt Mulberry so our rescuer fought to get him out of the urban management shelter. Unfortunately, they backed out. Now, Mulberry lives with many other dogs at the rescuer's own sanctuary, but we hope someone kind can bring him home and give him the life he deserves. This poor boy had been through so much, yet still so kind and friendly. Mulberry is currently in China, and available to fly to you in the coming months. Please send us an email if you are interested in learning more about him and our adoption process!

Story
Barley is a 3-year-old male Poodle weighing just 4 kg. Life has taught this little boy to be cautious, so he may be shy when meeting new people. But beneath that timid exterior is a gentle soul just waiting for someone to show him that people can be kind. Once Barley feels safe, he slowly opens his heart and forms a deep bond with the people he trusts. All he's looking for is a patient, loving family willing to let him settle in at his own pace. More than anything, Barley deserves a place to call home and a person to call his own. With a little patience and a lot of love, he'll reward you with unwavering loyalty and quiet companionship. Barley is currently in China, and available to fly to you in the coming months. Please send us an email if you are interested in learning more about Barley and our adoption process.
