Story
Sweet little Gwen, at only 1 1/2, was set to be euthanized for being scared. This sweet Corgi mix is a perfect size at about 27 lbs. Slowly, with patience, she is blossoming into a joyful and confident girl. Despite her great fear, she has shown no aggression. The grass she was afraid to walk on is now her playground. She has learned to use the doggy door and comes and goes outside all through the day. She needs a bit of time when experiencing something new but amazes us at how fast she learns. She is house-trained and walks well on a leash. She struggled at first in the kennel alone, but does well now. Gwen will bark when new people come over, but warms up quickly. She has gotten along well with the 18 pound terrier and 50 pound doodle she lives with. She has not been around cats, but doesn't react to them on walks. She would love another dog in her new home, but would be fine as an only dog. The greatest desire she has is to be loved and to be with her family. She is a wonderful mix of playfulness and a couch potato. She would prefer a home where she can snuggle next to you on the couch. Bailey will thrive in a home that understands she is still young and needing more training. She still gets nervous and needs someone who will work with her. She is as sweet and fun as they come and will make an incredible companion. Story
Meet Lyla! Lyla is a one-of-a-kind Corgi mix with about 31 other flavors mixed in—your guess is as good as ours! At approximately 10 months old and 22 pounds, this adorable tri-colored girl has all the charm of a Corgi with a unique look that’s completely her own. Lyla is sweet, loving, friendly, playful, and wonderfully well-tempered. She’s the kind of dog who’s simply happy to be by your side. Independent enough to entertain herself, she isn’t looking to be the center of attention—she’s looking to be someone’s loyal best friend. Lyla has a quiet way of working her way into your heart, and once she chooses you, you’ll wonder how you ever lived without her. Lyla would love a home with a securely fenced yard where she can safely explore. She absolutely loves other dogs and must have another playful dog (or two!) to keep her company. She’s potty trained, uses a doggie door, and walks beautifully on a leash. This sweet girl is an excellent eater and loves curling up in bed with her people. One of her cutest habits is making herself a little “bird’s nest” out of her favorite blanket before settling in for the night. She loves chewing on bones, carrying around stuffed toys, searching for crickets, and going on backyard lizard safaris. Like any young pup, her perfect day consists of playtime, a good nap, and then doing it all over again! Lyla is sure to make an amazing addition to a lucky family. She has so much love to give and will steal your heart with one little kiss—and one tiny white paw reaching out for you. Lyla is spayed, up to date on all vaccinations (including Rabies), microchipped, 4DX tested, and dewormed. She is a wonderful patient at the veterinary clinic and has a way of making everyone she meets fall in love with her. If you’re in Arizona and think Lyla could be the missing piece of your family, please complete an adoption application at: Luvofdogzfund.org/adopt/application Lyla is ready to find the forever home she’s been waiting for. Could it be yours? ❤️

Story
This sweet little angel has been with me since she was 8 weeks old. She's 3 years old now. My schedule has become so busy I'm not able to give her the attention she deserves. She's house-trained and does well with other dogs in house. She's a bit of a cat chaser, but with training she would stop. Very smart and responsive with training and time. She's actually the sweetest little thing and I'm so sad to have to re-home her. She's half Pembroke Welsh Corgi and half Shiba Inu. Her parents are pure bred. Spayed, chipped, and shots up to date. Reach out with any questions.

Story
Stumpy is male, neutered, and turns 7 yrs old in October. He is very friendly, relaxed dog and basically never barks. He mostly just lays around the house. He only barks if another dog is being confrontational, or if he sees a rabbit or duck he wants to chase. I took him to the dog parks a lot and he gets along well with other dogs. Sometimes he'll growl at male un-neutered dogs, but once he's around them for a while, he's fine with them. I believe he's allergic to chicken. Never had him tested, but whenever I fed him anything with chicken in it, his stool was very wet. And whenever I stopped feeding him anything with chicken in it, his stool was more solid.I found Stumpy as a stray dog in May 2025. After having him for a year, I've just become busy and realized that I'm not giving him the attention he deserves. He's really easy to take care of, but even so, I've just realized I'd be happier without a dog. I hope his next home is super loving. Maybe with another dog to keep him company.
