Deano is at our shelter. Please submit an application from our website or just come in to meet him during open hours!
Deano is what we call a Big Kentucky Floof! He recently arrived from a partner shelter in rural Kentucky, and we are so glad he is here and safe with us now.
At 4 years old, Deano is a gentle giant, a big lover boy, and perhaps most accurately, a friendly oaf. He has a whole lot of dog happening—big body, big fluffy head, big paws, big smile—but so far, everything about him has been wonderfully easygoing. He is sweet, social, cooperative, and just seems genuinely happy to be here!
While Deano is the kind of dog who looks like he should have a very important job guarding livestock on the side of a mountain, we are confident that he would abandon his post immediately if someone nearby offered him affection...or a treat! Deano is very food motivated and will plop right down into a "sit" and will even "stay"! He has definitely been worked with before.
And those eyes! Deano has one blue eye and one brown eye, which only adds to his magical appearance. He is an extremely handsome gentleman who does not appear to know that he is an extremely handsome gentleman.
Deano has only recently arrived, so we're still getting to know him, but our first impression has been a pretty spectacular one: big, gentle, friendly, uncomplicated, and very, very lovable.

Deano's adoption fee is $300. This animal is neutered, up to date on core vaccines, and Heartworm negative.
