Story
Forget-Me-Nots are small, sometimes missed, flowers that symbolize true love, loyalty, and remembrance. At the Maryland SPCA, we classify a pet as a Forget-Me-Not to highlight an animal that may have some extra considerations for potential adopters to be aware of. Even though this pet may need a little extra TLC in order to fully bloom, we know they are still a strong candidate for adoption and they're sure to bring true love and loyalty into their new family. We hope you'll remember these beautiful creatures when you consider adopting. Introducing King, a delightful young pup bursting with energy and affection. This sweet boy is a bundle of joy waiting to bring happiness to his forever family alongside his brother MAX. Both are bonded and MUST go home together... King's playful nature makes him a perfect match for families with children of all ages. His gentle demeanor and friendly disposition ensure that he'll be a beloved companion to kids and adults alike. King is crate trained and well-versed in basic commands such as "sit," "crate," and "eat,". With consistent routine, he'll make great strides in housebreaking as well. One of King's favorite pastimes is playing fetch with tennis balls. Max and King, are a dynamic duo of canine companionship. Max, the American Terrier, and King, the husky mix, share a bond that defies the odds. Despite facing their fair share of trauma, these brothers emerged stronger and closer than ever. Their love for each other is matched only by their voracious appetites for food and training. Whether they're romping around, wrestling, playing chase, or engaging in a spirited game of tug of war, their energy and enthusiasm are infectious. When one is absent, the other searches and whines, longing for their brother's company. While they're great together, Max and King have their own distinct personalities. King is the social butterfly, thriving in playgroups, dog parks, and any social outing. On the other hand, Max enjoys buddy walks with his canine pals but prefers a more laid-back approach to socializing, content to simply say "hey." He's best with dogs his own size as well. Together, both dogs make a delightful addition to any family.

Story
Need to rehome my 7 year old husky. He will be better with single, a couple with no kids. Lately he has been snappy when we move him off a blanket or to get him off the couch. The other week he bit my 7 year old when she was cleaning. I also have a 2 year old and just can’t trust him around the little ones. He will come with a very nice anxiety crate. Would rather keep it whole if possible. Other than that he is a good dog.

Hi, this is Jax. Jax is currently 9 months and is a bundle of pure joy. Due to some changes, I have to rehome Jax. He is a burst of energy and very loving. He is almost fully potty trained and listens very well. He loved outside and to play. I hope to find a family that can cater to him with the love and attention he deserves.
