Story
We have had Ailoy for a few years now. She is a wonderful girl and so sweet. She was adopted from a hard situation and can be very timid. But she’s never been aggressive. She loves being with other dogs and is very sweet with children. Since we had our baby however, she has gotten very anxious and been unable to remain out of her crate when we are away from home which is about 9 hours a day. She would flourish in a calm environment where walks and schedule are very consistent and her natural curiosity and mischievous nature can be entertained and nourished in a better way. We feel she would do better in a home where people are around more often and she is able to relax and receive all the love and care she deserves.

Story
Merlot was adopted in 2022 from Houston, Texas. She was born Feb. 5,2021. Merlot is a very good girl and has been a beloved family dog for almost 4 years now. It breaks our hearts that we have to rehome her. Unfortunately, she needs to be in a single dog household. We have three other dogs and over the years she keeps attacking the other dogs. She has food aggression as well. We have taken her to extensive dog training and while it helped in the short term, she still has her moments of aggression. We recently were blessed with two babies and while Merlot has never been anything but loving towards our children, we fear they might accidentally get hurt if they get caught between the dogs if a fight breaks out or if they try to get close to her when food is around. She has growled at us if we try to take certain items, like bones, away and with our sons getting bigger and more mobile we just don't feel safe keeping her any longer. We love her and wish it didn't have to come to this.

Fen is a 6-year-old Husky/Lab mix with a gentle soul and a heart that is more than ready for a second chance. Through no fault of his own, Fen’s life has changed dramatically—his owner moved away, leaving him in the care of a neighbor. Right now, Fen spends his days alone on a tie-out at a house no one lives in, quietly waiting and hoping for companionship. Despite his lonely circumstances, Fen remains incredibly sweet and affectionate. He adores attention, loves to run, and lights up the moment someone takes the time to be with him. Fen has lived indoors before and would be happy as an indoor/outdoor dog, or in a home where he has safe outdoor space with proper shelter and companionship. We are told Fen previously lived with cats, and if there are other dogs in the home, meet-and-greets can absolutely be arranged to ensure everyone is a good match. Fen is neutered and fully up to date on all veterinary care—he just needs someone to see him and give him the life he deserves. Fen isn’t asking for much… just a safe place, kind humans, and the love he’s been missing. Could you be the one to finally bring him home? ##2630674##
