Story

Kylo is a very friendly, loving, and expressive almost 3 year old Siberian Husky. As with all huskies, he is a big ball of energy and would do well with someone that has the time to play with him daily and let him get his energy out, even better if he could find a home with experienced husky parents. He would also do well with someone with a high fenced in back yard and/or land. He is a climber which is why I am unfortunately having to rehome him. I moved back into my father’s house and he has a dog door and chain link fence that Kylo tries to climb and I just do not want him to get hurt on the roads. I have had him since he was about 6 months old and have kennel and potty trained him. He knows how to sit, shake, and lay as well and does just about anything for a treat. He loves to play with his toys; and he loves attention and lots of pets and tends to think he is a lap dog. He truly is a really great dog and I really want to find him a good forever home.

Scout is a beautiful, energetic husky mix. He came to us after he was found as a stray. He did spend some time in a home and we were able to learn some information about him. Scout has does well with adults and young children, he is very energetic though, so supervision is advised with young children. Scout also does well with other dogs and cats! He knows commands sit, down, roll over, come, and shake. He also seems to be house trained. Scout is super active so he will require a tall privacy fence. His estimated DOB is 11/16/2024. Come to our shelter and meet this sweet boy.Our adoption fee is $125 for small breed dogs under 20 pounds and $100 for all other dogs and cats unless otherwise noted in their bio. Every pet available for adoption is current on shots spayed/neutered, and microchipped. You may submit an application online for pre-approval and to set an appointment or you can visit the shelter Wednesday - Sunday from 11am - 5pm. Please note that the kennels close for pet viewing at 4:30pm.
