Story
Shogun had a home, a mom that loved him more than we can even express. He provided her with comfort. He would greet all the neighbors and loved getting pets from all the kids getting off the school bus from school. He also lived with two chihuahuas. But due to landlord issues the mom had to surrender Shogun. Shogun is a beautiful boy and already proven that he can live with a family of both humans and fur babies. Please consider giving him his forever home!

Toby's birthday recently passed (sept 15) he is now 4 years old. He is trained to ring bells to head outside or he will let you know (husky whines lol) especially when we aren't in sync ( trained within a good routine -- wake up at 7am ,feed then go a short walk) days off are for dog park visits. Kennel trained, although require a chew toy to keep busy while one is a work. Toby is best of both worlds( husky and staffie) he gets excited not hyper and he enjoys lazy days. Listens to recall 9/10 times.

Story
***Wolfie is currently located at our rescue in Georgia. He is available for adoption in both Georgia and New Jersey. With an approved application or foster home, he can be transported to New Jersey area and attend an upcoming adoption event at the Tractor Supply in Ringoes. An application for his adoption can be submitted at socorescue.com (no need to register or login). Questions about Wolfie and/or our adoption process should be sent to socorescue8@gmail.com; please do not call the Rescue's number for information.*** For about three years, Wolfie had been a stray dog that regularly hung out at a women's rehab facility. While he had become somewhat of a fixture at the center, the governing board of the rehab eventually said he had to go. That's when a very kindhearted lady, who had been familiar with Wolfie, contacted SoCo Rescue to see if we could help him. Wolfie has proven to be very people friendly and has gotten along great with other dogs. He walks very well on leash, has displayed some house training experience and rides very well in a car. He also loves spending time outside, so a home that permits plenty of outdoor time would be best. Wolfie will not be good around cats Since coming to our rescue, Wolfie has been kept up to date on his annual vaccinations, de-wormings and preventative care. While he originally tested positive for heartworms, he now has tested negative for them. He may need a refresher course on his house training once in a new home. Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.May 19, 2026, 8:38 am

Story
Forrest is a fun, energetic dog. He loves to run around outside and play with other dogs. He’s is house trained, as well as crate trained. I moved a while back to a smaller space, and my work schedule changed. My yard is just not big enough for him to get his energy out anymore, and i no longer have time or space to give him the attention he deserves. He really needs that space to run around and someone who has the time to play with him and give him a lot of attention. He does great playing with my oldest cat but my other cat is terrified of him because he’s very big and it gets him riled up so i keep them separated, but he’s never attacked my cats, he’s just too big to play with them.

Story
Clyde is a happy active boy that needs an affectionate and active family. Routine is very important for his training; He is doing great on his crate and leash training. He is as funny as he is beautiful. He is dog friendly and loves people of all sizes but his energy is probably too much for small children. If you are looking for a lot of love and fun, Clyde is your boy.
