Toby's birthday recently passed (sept 15) he is now 4 years old. He is trained to ring bells to head outside or he will let you know (husky whines lol) especially when we aren't in sync ( trained within a good routine -- wake up at 7am ,feed then go a short walk) days off are for dog park visits. Kennel trained, although require a chew toy to keep busy while one is a work. Toby is best of both worlds( husky and staffie) he gets excited not hyper and he enjoys lazy days. Listens to recall 9/10 times.

Story
Shogun had a home, a mom that loved him more than we can even express. He provided her with comfort. He would greet all the neighbors and loved getting pets from all the kids getting off the school bus from school. He also lived with two chihuahuas. But due to landlord issues the mom had to surrender Shogun. Shogun is a beautiful boy and already proven that he can live with a family of both humans and fur babies. Please consider giving him his forever home!

Story
Gidgit is a wonderful dog. Adopted her from a humane society. She was abandoned by her previous owners when they moved. When we adopted her she was almost hairless and it’s slowly growing back in. She gets along with other dogs but is selective about which dogs. Plays well with the selective dogs she likes. She is dominant and unfortunately we have one too many dominant type of dogs in the house. Gidgit is not suited for a home with cats whether they are indoor or outdoor. UTD on shots, house trained, and very loving. If you have any more questions just ask!

Story
Meet Jax! Jax is an one year old super mutt with a small-to-medium build and the calm, gentle energy of a much older dog — with a goofy streak that makes him absolutely irresistible. He may have “the grace of a Great Dane,” but that just adds to his charm. Jax’s ideal day includes napping in a cozy spot, exploring the yard, stretching out in the grass, and happily chewing on his favorite toys. He’s an easygoing pup who loves simple pleasures and brings a peaceful presence to any home. He gets along wonderfully with his sister and his foster dog siblings, and he’s already got his basic training down. While he’s a champ at home life, he can be sensitive to loud noises, so a patient family that can offer reassurance during those moments would be perfect for him. Jax is gentle, sweet, and quietly funny — the kind of dog who becomes your steady companion without ever demanding too much. If you’re looking for a laid-back buddy with a big heart, Jax might be the one! --- Adoptions are limited to an approximately 150-mile radius from Locust Grove, GA (with some exceptions). Adoption Fee: $250 – includes age-appropriate vaccinations, spay/neuter, heartworm testing/treatment if needed, deworming, flea prevention, and a registered microchip. To apply, please fill out a Preliminary Adoption Application at: www.streetpaws.org/home/adopt This application doesn’t commit you to adoption—it helps us ensure the best match for both you and the pet. We verify vet history for current/previous pets, so please call your vet to give permission for us to contact them. For more info, email us at info@streetpaws.org. You must complete the pre-application to be approved to meet me.May 19, 2026, 1:50 pm

Story
Meet Echo! Echo is an 1 year-old “super mutt” with a small-to-medium frame and a big, lovable personality. She’s the perfect mix of energetic playmate and loyal cuddle buddy. This smart girl learns quickly, behaves beautifully in the home, and has a natural protective streak that makes her feel like your very own little guardian. Echo adores playing with other dogs, chewing on her Kongs, crunching ice cubes, and—surprisingly—baths! After a good play session, she’s more than happy to curl up next to you for snuggles. When meeting new people, Echo can be wary of sudden movements, so a gentle intro helps her feel safe. She’s also not a fan of stuffed animals, but give her a durable toy and she’s in heaven. Echo is ready for a family who will appreciate her sweet mix of energy, affection, and smarts. If you’re looking for a young dog who will love you fiercely and keep you laughing, Echo might be your perfect match! --- Adoptions are limited to an approximately 150-mile radius from Locust Grove, GA (with some exceptions). Story
Name: Dot aka Koda (Nicknames - Koda Nick or Koda Bear)Breed: Australian Cattle Dog/Blue Heeler/Chow Chow MixSex/Age/Weight: Female/DOB 11-29-20/55 lbs.Vetting: Spayed, up to date on vaccinations, microchipped, heartworm negative and on preventatives.House/Crate Trained: Yes/Yes. Koda loves her crate! When it comes to nap time or settling in for the evening Koda goes right in for a snooze.Dogs/Cats/Children: Yes/No/Yes. Koda does very well with medium to large sized dogs and has two furry siblings she loves to wrestle with. She is not comfortable with smaller dogs and cats so it is best that she be the one and only or have a medium to large size dog to hang out with. She loves children of all ages especially when she can cuddle up with them and get belly rubs.Training: Koda is working on her commands and manners. She knows sit, down, and paw, and walks great on a leash. She will need someone to continue to train her so she can be the best girl for you!Working on: Koda is quite the snuggle bunny and sometimes thinks she is a lap dog. She is learning that you can cuddle with your humans without sitting on their lap. She can be vocal about things she wants - dinner, attention, etc., She is an American Idol in the making and is in the process of learning to sing silently and will need someone to continue teaching her it is okay to sing to yourself. Koda has trust issues when it comes to dinner time and prefers to enjoy her meal in her crate. Her foster family is slowly introducing her to others at meal time. Things I like: People! She loves to be around her humans. Snuggling up with them is one of her favorite pastimes. When she is not cuddling up, you will find her playing and running around in the backyard with her siblings or having fun time in the water.Things I don’t like: Being alone or ignored for long periods of time. Koda would love someone who works from home or who is only gone from home for short periods of time. As much as she loves playing in the water, bath time is not her favorite. She doesn’t understand it helps keep her beautiful coat from shedding so much. She will need a daily brushing to help with her shedding as well. Ideal home: Koda would do best where she can get lots of exercise, play time, and attention. A family who has time to be committed to her would be best, preferably with a backyard where she she could hang out with a furry sibling (medium to large sized dogs only). If you are interested in giving Dot aka Koda a forever home, please visit the link below to fill out an application! http://fureverafterrescue.org/adoption-application.html It is best to submit an application through a computer.
