Story
Sebastian is a handsome Husky mix who found himself on death row after being owner-surrendered. He and his brother, Tristan, have been in the same home since birth, about 3 years ago. He is the sweetest boy! He gets along with other dogs and is super polite on walks. He is a tail wagger for sure! He is unfortunately HW positive and is being treated at Happy Tails. We would love to see him go into a foster home or get adopted while going through treatment. It is just a much calmer environment. Apply for Sebastian today!

Story
Audrey has been through SO MUCH but still loves pets (and treats) from people she trusts. Her fur is amazingly soft. Despite her sugared face, we really don't know how old she is - she had a litter over the winter; her eyes are clear & bright; teeth are worn but mostly white; she's very upbeat. She's missing a chunk of her nose and been shot at least once with a BB gun. When she was first rescued, she was found sharing 17 puppies with 2 other mommas - who knows how many puppies she's birthed/raised in the wild. Despite this, she greets everyone with a tail wag (although from a distance), tippy tap dances when you talk sweet to her, likes pets/cuddles from people she knows, and wants to be near the family. She is super thrilled to be an indoor dog and has become a bit prissy about mud or wet grass. She is ALL about mealtime. Now that she's finally feeling good, shes being more goofy and even gets the zoomies She's defensive with new dogs until she knows they aren't going to hurt her - then she becomes good friends with them. She loves older kids. She is smart and knows what a lot of words mean, but weirdly "sit" has been difficult. Overall, she is a very sweet & polite lady that is looking for a loving & understanding furever family.

(when grown) Large 61-100 lbs (28-45 kg)

Story
Hook is a big-hearted, affectionate boy who loves being close to his people. He leans his whole body into you when he wants attention, absolutely loves belly rubs, and is happiest when he has a soft, squeaky plush toy to carry around. He also enjoys playing fetch and tug-of-war and knows basic cues like sit and lay down. Hook is a smart, sensitive dog who finds the shelter environment overwhelming, so he’s currently on medication to help with kennel stress. Hook’s ideal home is a calm, structured environment where he can decompress, settle into a routine, and show his true personality. He will thrive with a confident, consistent, and experienced dog owner who enjoys building a bond through training and giving him clear guidance. In a previous home, Hook reportedly did better with men than women, and he will need a home without small children. He will benefit from continued work on leash manners and does best walking in a harness. He is good with cats. We have not yet tested him directly with other dogs. If you’re looking for a loyal, affectionate companion who just needs the right environment to truly shine, Hook might be the one for you.

Bishop may be a little socially awkward, but that's all part of his charm. This goofy boy has come a long way and has discovered that people, playtime, other dogs, and snacks are some of life's greatest treasures. While he can sometimes be a little unsure of himself, Bishop makes up for it with his lovable personality and endless entertainment value. He's the kind of dog who can make you laugh without even trying, whether he's being silly with his toys, making new dog friends, or eagerly accepting treats as if they're the greatest gift ever given. Bishop absolutely loves people and enjoys spending time with his favorite humans. He also gets along well with other dogs and thrives when he has opportunities to play and have fun. Underneath his quirky exterior is a sweet, affectionate companion who just wants to enjoy life and share it with someone special. If you're looking for a dog with a big heart, a goofy personality, and a talent for making every day a little brighter, Bishop might be your perfect match.
