Story
This is Rooster. He was born in April 2025. I got him from a breeder when my mom was going through cancer in the last month of her life. He is a very good dog. We have taught him to sit and wait for his food. He is just not very good with cats. He plays very rough with them and that causes much stress in our house right now. I really need to find him a home with no cats. Thank you. His rehoming fee is $150.00.

Name: Kaylee Ann Age: 3 years Breed: Siberian Husky mix Size: 44.3 Special Needs: Heartworm positive Adoption Application: https://forms.gle/nuKXoMu6gjS5DhFm8 Contact: transport@hssm.org Meet Kaylee Ann! The perfect combination of grace, calm, and a heart full of love! Kaylee Ann is a beautiful 3-year-old Siberian Husky mix who arrived at HSSM on November 12th, 2025, after being found as a stray in Biloxi by animal control. Since her arrival, she has completely stolen the hearts of staff and volunteers alike with her gentle soul, calm nature, and wonderfully well-rounded manners. Kaylee walks on her leash like an absolute lady—graceful, confident, and just a touch sassy with every step. Her calm, cool demeanor makes her a fantastic family dog, especially for those looking for a companion who brings peace and warmth into the home. She loves spending time in the yard soaking up sunshine and fresh air, and she’s happiest when she’s close to her people. Bonus: her kisses are truly top tier. While Kaylee Ann enjoys companionship, she’s also content entertaining herself when needed, making her a great match for households with busy days but loving evenings. She would thrive in a calmer home where she can relax with her favorite humans, though she’s always up for the occasional new adventure. Kaylee is up to date on vaccines, microchipped, and spayed. She has tested positive for heartworms, but don't let that stop you from giving Kaylee the care she needs to live a long, healthy life. If you’re searching for a loyal, loving companion with a peaceful presence and a heart of gold, Kaylee Ann may be the one you’ve been waiting for. Kaylee Ann's $300 adoption fee includes spay/neuter, up to date vaccines, microchip AND transport fee to a location near you. We currently have transportation to CT, MD, NJ, NY, PA, VA, GA, and TN. Story
Lola loves her people! She is great with children and mothers my toddler. Lola is potty trained, spayed, knows the command sit and stay. The reason we are rehoming her is she and our other malamute have escaped a few times together. When they escape together they have a pack mentality and have attacked small dogs. We believe it is a prey drive situation. We have small children that keep leaving the front door or gate open. Lola is a pure bred and has had one litter of puppies. We spayed her after. She needs a home that can ensure she will not escape and get herself in trouble. She needs a home where she is the only dog and a home that can provide her lots of attention. She is a fun and quirky girl that loves giving and getting attention.
