Story
Sole Reason has fully sponsored my adoption fee! Heartworm Positive: Hi, I'm Kali and I'm Heartworm Positive! Don't worry-I'm still the same lovable pup, I just need a little extra TLC right now! I'm looking for a foster-to-adopt family who can help me heal in a calm, comfy home while I go through treatment. Heartworm treatment can take up to 3 months, and while it works hard to get me healthy, it can be tough on my body. A quiet space with a loving human would make all the difference. What is heartworm disease? It's caused by bites from infected mosquitoes when dogs aren't on regular heartworm prevention. It takes about 6 months after exposure for dogs to test positive-so prevention year-round is a must! Can other pets catch it? Not directly! It's not contagious between dogs unless a mosquito bites me and then bites another pup. That's why prevention is key. Please ask staff about how to take me home-I'm ready to start my healing journey with you.Meet Kali, a 7-year-old fluff-ball with a heart of gold (and a heart we're currently working on healing). Kali recently found herself looking for a new start after her family moved, and while her world has changed, her sweet spirit hasn't.During her checkup, we discovered Kali is heartworm positive. She's already started her treatment journey, but she's looking for a "Foster-to-Adopt" hero to give her a quiet place to rest for the next three months while she recovers.Kid-Friendly: She's lived with kids (ages 2-12) and loves them! She can be a "jumpy" greeter when excited, so she'd love a family that doesn't mind a little Husky enthusiasm.Crate Queen: She's already crate trained and sleeps soundly in her "den" at night.Quiet Living: Kali is looking for a home where she can be the center of attention or live with a very mellow canine sibling. She likes to be the "boss" of the yard, so high-energy dogs might be a bit much for her right now.Homebody at Heart: She's a bit nervous about storms and hasn't mastered the art of the car ride yet, but she's ready to learn with a patient partner.Kali needs to keep her heart rate low during treatment, which makes her the perfect companion for movie marathons and porch lounging. Will you be the one to help her heal? Primary Color: Black Tri Color Weight: 51 Age: 7yrs 0mths 2wks

Story
Rhaegar is a 13-year-old male Husky and truly one of the smartest dogs we have ever known. It breaks our hearts to make this decision, but as we prepare to welcome a child into our family, it has become clear that Rhaegar does not do well around young children. As he has gotten older, his eyesight and hearing have begun to decline, and he deserves a calm, understanding environment that fits his needs. Rhaegar would thrive in a quiet home where he can rest, lounge around, spend time outside watching birds and squirrels, and happily bark at the occasional noise. We are hoping to find him a loving family where he can enjoy his golden years in comfort and peace.

Story
If you have a thing for Panda's, then he is your guy. He is fluffy, cuddly, and full of energy. There is never a dull moment with Aero. We do recommend him being the only panda in your home, due to his rambunctious play drive that can be a lot for another animal, but he has made a few doggy friends during his time with us!

Story
Bmo is 3 years old, birthday is August 31st, I adopted him from a coworker I used to work with who had a litter of puppies, but now I’m looking for someone who has more time on their hands, because unfortunately I do not:( if you have a fence, a tall one would be recommended, unless he’s being supervised he’s fine, but if you plan to walk him regularly thats okay too. He barely sheds, just needs brushing of course which i have lots of different brushes I’d provide for you. I will provide a very nice kennel, a free bag of the dog food i feed him, all his toys & belongings like dog soap, nail clippers, etc. Thank you :)
