Like her namesake, she is a powerful pup with a strong personality. Illyana is independent, smart, and just a little mischievous. Behind the puppy chaos lies a devoted companion who just wants your love. She does well with other dogs and has been around cats without issue. She has only been around older kids, so we are unsure how she would be with younger children. She still has a few accidents, which is expected coming in as a stray, but she is almost potty trained. She does take a moment to warm up and can get nervous in small/enclosed spaces, but she does fine on car rides and enjoys being a lap dog. Very affectionate and loving, just nervous around children, especially toddlers. Knows how to sit and shake. Has played with other dogs his size just fine. Has not been around cats. He’s a big guy and I am unable to walk him anymore due to my previously broken ankle and my age. I also have a two year old grandchild that I now babysit.

Story
Riri is a spunky high energy dog that is need of a home that is calm without a lot of new exciting guests. She tolerates other animals but prefers to be on her own with her humans. She loves to cuddle, lay in her crate, and loves a warm soft place to lay. She loves kids but a little too much. As she will jump on everyone when she first sees them. And has a tendency to try and lick faces. Sometimes in her over excitement she can nibble a little when doing this like a love pinch. She can become food, toy, space, and human territorial so there needs be caution with children and small animals. Riri needs lots of walks multiples a day to help with her behaviors. Does best leashed with a chest clip harness to help contain her excitement for the walk and the occasional squirrel. Riri has had instances of getting too rough with smaller dogs.Although she has some behaviors that would require a lot of patience and work, she is a love bug who just needs the right fit. She wants to be a good girl.

I temporarily agreed to take him because original owners were evicted from their home. He needs an experienced dog owner who is the alpha in the house. Need a high fence yard, someone who can play and exercise him. Super sweet boy.
