☯️ Judy and Athena ☯️ are much like the eastern philosophical idea of yin and yang, the process of the universe: together there is harmony, yet they are each distinct forces. When you need to be in charge of things or get stuff done 📋🔨 Judy will be right by your side to keep everything and everyone in line 👩‍🏫 And when you’re ready to tone it down or relax,🍹✨ let Athena’s happy spirit be your guide to contentment. 🌻🌛 Judy, ☯️ a 5-year-old Cattle Dog mix who weighs 52 pounds, can come off as bossy and a bit aloof, but she warms to people soon enough, and it turns out she loves attention and is affectionate. She’ll bark when she’s unsure about something, which seems to be her way of voicing a concern or asking a question. Athena, ☯️ a 6-year-old Pomsky (Pomeranian + Siberian Husky) who weighs 48 pounds, is a glass-half-full gal who sees the good in everyone instantly. She has a pleasant spark of energy that she brings to her home and people. The ladies follow basic commands well, like sit and leave it, and they do well on the leash. They’re happy to go on car rides or explore wherever you’re headed. At home, they like to play ball or chew on buffalo horns or antlers. They’re also great playmates with other dogs for any type of play. Judy barks when she plays; she must like telling everyone how much fun she’s having 😆 At night, they find their own spots to sleep in the living room. They are both crate trained and house trained. Athena and Judy would do best with a fenced yard. They are both spayed, vaccinated and microchipped, as well as current on heartworm/flea/tick preventatives. Their adoption fee is $175 for both. Meet & greets will be scheduled with approved adopters. 🐕Apply to adopt at PawsitiveTailsKC.org🐕

Story
Hi there! I’m Bodie! I’m a super fun, goofy, and active Husky! Even though I’m 2 years old and 40 pounds, I like to think of myself as a little bit of a puppy still. Why, you ask? Because I’m SUCH a good boy! I know how to sit and lie down, and I'm already crate-trained. I LOVEEEEE toys, chasing toys, playing with toys, running after toys…did I mention I love toys? What can I say? I’m just a guy who likes to be active and stay busy! That’s probably how I’m able to maintain my handsome physique! 💪🐶 Would you like a walking or running partner? Because that sounds like a lot of fun to me! It helps me keep my legs strong and buff! People will admire us as we pass them by each day! They might even whistle at us! I mean, HELLO, just look at my eyes, BOL! 😂 Now you might still be wondering why I said I’m a little puppy like, especially after you’ve seen all the awesome things I’m interested in! Well…it’s because I'm still working on my house training just a bit, and I can be a little mouthy when I play. No, no, no…I’m not going to backtalk or bite you, silly! It’s just that when I play, I’m still learning to be gentler with my teeth! 😁 It might even be best for my furever home to have older kids instead of younger ones, just to be safe. BUT, if you’re willing to work on this with me, I’m pretty sure I could be ok with some smaller ones too! I really do like kids! I also like other dogs too. If you’re ready for an adventurous and active new BFF, go ahead and submit an application with Pawsitive Tails and put my name on it! Woofs and kisses, Bodie! ❤ Bodie is neutered, microchipped, and up-to-date on age-appropriate vaccines and heartworm/flea/tick preventatives. His adoption fee is $175. Meet-and-greets will be scheduled with approved adopters. 🐕Apply to adopt at PawsitiveTailsKC.org🐕

Story
What did the “Skye” say to the rainbow? You brighten my day! That’s because this amazing girl wants to be the sunshine of your life. ☀️🌈☀️🌈☀️ Skye is a five-year-old Husky with the most stunning crystal blue eyes you’ve ever seen. In addition to being beautiful, she’s a perfect medium-sized ball of joy, wrapped up in a 45lb black, grey, and white package. This happy-go-lucky girl is house-trained, quickly learning crate training because she loves treats as a reward for going in, and she already walks wonderfully on a leash. She also knows commands like sit and kennel, and is promptly catching on to coming when you call her name. Did we mention that she’s also learning to wait? Is there anything this girl isn’t willing to try to make you happy? Not only is Skye super smart and a fast learner, but she’s also got just the right amount of energy to brighten your day—not too much and not too little. She LOVES to spend time playing with the resident dogs in her foster home, running around the back yard and chomping on toys inside. Because of this, we think she would likely be happiest in a home with another active dog. She equally loves attention from humans, though, whether that’s snuggling or just getting pets. Skye is the kind of girl who’s always up for making your day better and wants to be the K9 companion you’ve dreamed of. Although she has not attempted to jump any fences, she will likely need a 5-6-foot fence to avoid unplanned Husky adventures. Skye is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, and current on heartworm preventative and flea/tick prevention. The adoption fee is $175, which includes her being the furever sunshine of your life. Apply to adopt her today. Meet and greets will be scheduled with approved adopters from PawsitiveTailsKC.org. 🖤🤎❤️🧡💛💚💙💜🤍💜💙💚💛🧡❤️🤎🖤 APPLY @ PawsitiveTailsKC.org 🖤🤎❤️🧡💛💚💙💜🤍💜💙💚💛🧡❤️🤎🖤

Story
🐈🐈 Cat-friendly 🐈🐈 “Hey, handsome!” Winston hears that a lot, and it’s not hard to see why. He’s a 5-year-old Siberian Husky (around 46 pounds) with a rare piebald coat – lots of white, with bold patches that make him hard to miss. He has the personality to match. He’s incredibly affectionate, loves giving kisses, and is always up for a “chat” in his cute husky voice. 🗣️ Winston likes to keep tabs on what you’re up to and wants to be part of whatever’s going on (whether you invited him or not). 😄 He was found as a stray and likely didn’t have much structure before, but he’s adjusting well and showing just how sweet and easygoing he can be. He’s about 90% house trained, knows “wait,” and is just starting to learn the basics. Leash walking is new to him, so expect some pulling as he figures it out. He’s also just beginning to show interest in toys, which is pretty fun to watch him realize, “Oh wow, these are actually great.” 🧸 Winston does well with other dogs overall, though he may be selective and can sometimes guard toys or his person. He’s been around cats and may bark, but he’s not aggressive and can be redirected. He’d do best in a home that can offer patience, structure, and plenty of attention. A fenced yard would be ideal, and while he’s not a big fan of crates or getting into the car, he settles once he’s on the move. Right now, Winston is in heartworm treatment, so he’s keeping things pretty low-key for a few more weeks while his body heals. He’s done a great job staying calm, and once he’s cleared, he’ll be ready to ease into a more active routine. Winston is a real stunner – sweet, slightly quirky, and still learning, but already knows how to love. ❤️ Winston’s adoption fee is $175, which includes his neuter, vaccines, microchip and heartworm/flea/tick preventatives. Apply to meet him at PawsitiveTailsKC.org. Meet-and-greets will be scheduled with approved adopters. 🖤🤎❤️🧡💛💚💙💜🤍💜💙💚💛🧡❤️🤎🖤 APPLY @ PawsitiveTailsKC.org 🖤🤎❤️🧡💛💚💙💜🤍💜💙💚💛🧡❤️🤎🖤

Story
🐈🐱 Cat-friendly 🐱🐈 Hi, I'm 🕸️Cobweb🕸️. Yep, I have a unique name, but I am memorable for so much more than my name. Everyone really likes me a lot, and I feel exactly the same way about all of them. I bet you’ll like me too. 👯‍♂️ I’m pretty new here because I’m only 2 months old. They talk about me being a Husky and Cattle Dog mix, and I’ll probably be around 50 pounds someday. I already have a list 📜 of things I know for sure: 1️⃣ Those little people 👦👧 – I’ve heard them called kids and children – are some of my absolute favorites. I like to get their attention so that they’ll play with me and snuggle me. 2️⃣ Speaking of snuggling, I really like to cuddle with people 🛋️ 🛏️. I lean in to make sure you cuddle me all the way 🧸 3️⃣ I am super dog friendly, and I see them all as my buddies. 🐩🐕 That cat seems like fun too, and we get along fine. I’m thinking about playing some games with them later.🎮 4️⃣ Toys are amazing! 🔫 🧩 Have you seen these things?! 🪁 Some make a squeaky noise that I want to do over and over and over…and others feel really good on my teeth. 5️⃣ Have I mentioned humans? Short or tall, big or small, I couldn’t love them more. 🤗 I have learned so much already, haven’t I? And I’m also in the middle of learning how to be a good boy in my crate and where I’m supposed to take care of my business. I get to have new experiences every day! I hope you’ll think about bringing me to your place to snuggle forever. I’d be so happy about that. ☺️😊 Cobweb is neutered, up-to-date on age-appropriate vaccines and microchipped. He’ll come to you current on heartworm/flea/tick preventatives. His adoption fee is $275. Meet and greets will be scheduled with approved adopters, 🐕Apply to adopt at PawsitiveTailsKC.org🐕
