Story
Alex is a high energy dog. She needs frequent reassurance on the leash but is making really great progress. Alex knows how to sit on command, and she is food and praise motivated. She appears potty trained. Alex allows full body handling/petting. She maintains loose, but fearful body language walking past other dogs in the kennels. Alex gets nervous in doorways. She does well with men, women, and children.URGENT

Story
At just 2½ years old, Chief has already been through more than most dogs ever should. Through no fault of his own, he`s found himself back at the shelter eight different times, bouncing from home to home without ever getting the consistency every dog needs.Chief isn`t a bad dog—he`s a dog who`s never been given the chance to truly settle in. After so much change, he`s lost any sense of routine, and what he needs most is structure, stability, and someone willing to stick with him.Like many Huskies, Chief is very high energy and thrives when he has plenty of exercise and mental stimulation. He`ll need a secure, escape-proof fenced yard, as he`s known to look for adventures if given the opportunity. He`s not the type of dog who will be content lounging around all day—he wants to be part of an active lifestyle.Chief is at an important crossroads in his life. With an experienced owner who understands working breeds, sets clear boundaries, and has the patience to help him succeed, he has every opportunity to become an incredible lifelong companion. He just needs someone who sees his potential and is committed to helping him reach it.If you`re looking for a project with a huge payoff and have the time, experience, and dedication to give Chief the stable home he`s never truly had, come meet him. He doesn`t need another temporary stop—he needs someone who will finally show him what `forever` means.

Koda is by far the most chill husky I’ve ever meet. He’s lazy and likes laying around but loves to play with the kids. We acquired him when a family member passed and with our lifestyle and all we have going on we can’t care for him!

Story
Meet Talley! Talley is the sweetest, most non-Husky acting Husky we’ve ever met! She is gentle, loving, and gets along well with the dogs and cats in her foster home. She can be a little curious with cats, but she is easily redirected. Talley is respectful when giving correction to the puppies in her foster home, but would likely prefer a home without constant in-her-face puppy energy. She is also wonderfully gentle and sweet with kids. Talley does really well on leash with minimal pulling and responds well to redirection when she gets excited. She also loves car rides — she may give a little excited whine at first, but then she settles in and enjoys the ride. With her gentle, easygoing nature, Talley would do well in just about any home. Found with her friend, Brock, at the local gas station- apparently they had been hanging around there for weeks :( Misty and Brock were so thankful the day they were saved, by the rescue CHIEF on the day they were found.... Misty actually had an infection in her uterus and she would have died if not saved and spayed as quickly as she was :( NOW she is healthy and happy and loving a new chance at a life she deserves!! Misty is sweet and smart and so much more social, she is good with other beta dogs- she does like to be in charge a little, lol. She is ready for that forever family who has the love and fun love of adventure that will keep Misty happy for years!! ADOPT, DON'T SHOP!!!! Recycle a life or ten, PLEASE!!
