Story
Meet Bolt! Bolt is a 7-year-old, medium-sized Husky mix who’s been described by those who know him best as an absolute hoot! He may have a little life experience under his belt, but don’t let that fool you — he still loves his daily walks, taking in all the sniffs, and proudly performing his “dog duties.” Bolt is a social guy who enjoys meeting new people and will happily join you for a stroll or a quick romp in the yard. Afterwards, he’s more than content to kick back and relax by your side — quality time with his favorite human is his favorite reward. This smart, loyal boy is a proud graduate of the Paws Behind Bars training program, where he learned how to be the best companion he can be and discovered how much he loves pleasing his person. He’s fully potty trained, crate trained, rides like a champ in the car, and simply enjoys being part of whatever’s going on. Bolt gets along with other dogs when introduced properly, though he’s more of a “hangout buddy” than a playmate. However, he’s not a fan of cats or small animals, so a feline-free home is best for him. If you’re looking for a loyal, laid-back companion with a touch of Husky humor, Bolt just might be your perfect match. Our adoption process begins with submitting an application online.

BUCKY: The Chill King Seeking His Forever CouchMeet Bucky, a 3-year-old, 50-pound husky mix who has clearly missed the memo about huskies being high-energy drama queens. The audacity.THE FACTS:* Good with other dogs (makes friends, doesn't start drama)* Can vibe with cats (with proper introductions because he's polite like that* 50 pounds of chill energy* Probably won't howl-sing at 3am about the moon's personal businessBucky is ready to find a family who appreciates a husky that acts like he's been meditating for the past three years. Story
Meet Fanzo 💙 A 3½ month old husky pup with the voice of an angel (and the attitude of a comedian) Fanzo and his mom were found as strays and taken to a small rural shelter. His mom quickly found her forever home, but little Fanzo was left behind with no interest — so we couldn’t leave him there. Now he’s safe in rescue and ready to find a family of his own! Fanzo is a happy, curious pup who gets along great with other dogs and does well with cats. He might give chase now and then, but it’s all in good fun. He’s working on potty training and is almost there — though he still does the occasional excited pee dribble when he’s just too happy to contain himself 😆 True to his husky roots, Fanzo is chatty and loves to “talk back.” Whether he’s howling, grumbling, or giving you his best puppy sass, this boy always has something to say! Fanzo would love a home that can keep up with his playful personality and help him continue learning all the good stuff — like manners, confidence, and that he’ll never be left behind again. Located in Crab Orchard, Kentucky $300 adoption fee If interested in adopting Fanzo, please send us a message on our Facebook page or email us at fureverbrookehaven@gmail.com. We’d love to tell you more about this sweet boy!❤️
