Location: Farmington, MN Hello, meet Leona!!! This girl would be a joyful and loving addition to any family! She gets along with other dogs and is very playful, but she also loves a good snuggle when she is ready to relax. She is very smart and learned “sit” within a day, with the help of a treat of course! She is sweet with just enough sass to make you laugh. I’m guessing a husky/german shepard mix. She sleeps great at night and I know she can be your next best friend!! --------------- The best way to show interest in an animal is to submit an adoption application by visiting our website (www.rescuenetworkmn.org). Adoption fee includes spay/neuter, all age-appropriate vaccinations (distemper, rabies, and bordetella), heartworm and flea/tick preventatives, heartworm test (dogs), FIV/FeLV test (cats), dewormed, and microchip implant (including registration). Rescue Network is strictly foster based which means all adoptable animals are in a home and there cannot be a meet until an application is submitted and approved. Meet Rocky! He has been described as timid and curious. Rocky came to us originally as a stray, so we don't know much about his history. We are unsure how he would do around children, cats or other dogs. All introductions should be slow and proper when bringing home new animals. Ask staff for tips! Rocky doesn't seem too crazy about toys, but he loves cheese! He has been doing great with housetraining but requests to go out frequently. Rocky walks great on a leash! Come meet Rocky today! *Adoption holds may be placed on available animals in person or by calling (320) 252-0896. An adoption hold reserves available animals for one day after the animal is ready to be adopted. More than one adoption hold may be placed on an available animal and will be honored in the order they were received. Adoption holds are $25 plus tax, are non-refundable, non-transferable and not applied toward the adoption fee. **Minnesota sales tax and an administrative fee ($20 for cats/dogs and $10 for small animals) will be applied to all adoptions. Donations and adoption fees help cover the cost of spay/neuter surgeries, microchipping, vaccinating, deworming, any medical procedures, and general care of all shelter animals.
