Location: Harrisburg, SD Dorothy is quiet and gentle. She loves chew toys. She does well with kids and doesn’t mind cats but will growl if she does not know them well and they get in her space. Dorothy does have some anxiety and will need someone to be patient while she learns to not fear the leash or car rides. She’s not aggressive fearful, but will have an accident or lay down and cry if you try to take her somewhere new. This little lady does prefer her familiar spot wherever that may be in the house. She also will howl with her family which is the cutest! Dorothy is silly and so affectionate when she gets to know and trust you! She does a happy twirling tap dance when her favorite people come home or give her attention! --------------- The best way to show interest in an animal is to submit an adoption application by visiting our website (www.rescuenetworkmn.org). 💜 Come meet me at our Adoption Event at Forgotten Star Brewing in Fridley on Saturday, 2/14 from 12:00pm - 2:00pm! 💚 Age: DOB 6/02/2025 Dog friendly: Yes Kid friendly: Yes Potty Trained: Yes Crate Trained: Yes Meet Faber: your energetic rookie with first-line potential 🏒 Faber is a smart young pup who’s ready to skate her way into the right home. She’s crate trained, sleeps through the night in her kennel, and does great with daytime crate breaks too (up to 6 hours currently). She’s also potty trained and happily handles business in the yard. She listens when you tell her “go potty”. This girl is a quick learner. She already knows sit, down, and touch, which is where she touches her nose to your hand and can be used for recall. She's currently learning leave it and doing well. Training sessions are one of her favorite ways to burn energy and bond with her people. Her other favorite way is a walk of any length. Faber brings rookie enthusiasm to everything she does. She loves fetch, enjoys snuggle time once she settles, and wants to be involved in whatever her humans are up to. Like many young athletes, she’s still building her off-switch and does best with clear routines, structure, and regular mental and physical outlets. Her current stats: 🏒 Crate trained (night and day) 🏒 Potty trained 🏒 Knows sit, down, touch — working on leave it 🏒 Smart, food-motivated, and eager to learn 🏒 Energetic with a sweet, cuddly side once she’s had her activity Faber is looking for a home that appreciates a spirited young player. She'd love someone who’s ready to invest time in training, provide structure, and help her grow into the amazing teammate she’s meant to be. If you’re searching for a loyal companion with hustle, heart, and plenty of personality, Faber might be your MVP.

Story
Hi my name is Gigi and I am from Arkansas! Gigi was originally brought into her current shelter with her gorgeous litter of puppies. The pups were adopted out and now it is Gigi's turn! She is a great friend to every other dog at her current shelter. Gigi walks well on leash and enjoys people. She has good energy and is willing to please. From her foster: Gigi is so sweet and cuddly, and a well mannered lady. She is a bit shy with new people, but warms up quickly once feeling safe. She is fully housetrained, and sleeps peacefully through the night. Gigi enjoys going for walks and waits patiently to get leashed up. She don't pull on the leash except when there's a really good smell or when passing by another dog - just gets so excited to say hi! She has fun playing with toys of all kinds, though still learning that socks and slippers she find on the floor aren't chew toys (or I'm just enforcing keeping laundry put away!).She will woof a little to alert you if seeing something impressive (like deer outside), otherwise pretty quiet. She really wants a family to love, snuggle, and play with!

Story
Meet Meeko! 🐺💛 At 4 years old, Meeko is proof that not all huskies are wild whirlwinds. This handsome boy is as gentle and laid-back as they come. With his stunning golden eyes and calm personality, Meeko has a way of quietly stealing hearts wherever he goes. Meeko enjoys the simple things in life. He loves playing with his toys, relaxing in his cozy bed, and spending time near his people. He gets along wonderfully with his foster siblings (both dog and humans!) showing just how patient and sweet he truly is. Whether he’s hanging out with the family or going for a walk, Meeko is happy just being part of the moment. Speaking of walks, Meeko is fantastic on a leash! He strolls along politely and makes walks easy and enjoyable. Even more impressive for a husky, Meeko is not much of a barker. He’s truly a very chill husky who would love a home where he can relax, play, and soak up affection. If you’re looking for a gentle, easygoing companion with striking golden eyes and a heart to match, Meeko might just be your perfect match. 🐾 All CSHS pups are spayed/neutered, up to date on age-appropriate vaccines, 4DX negative (if older than 6 months), dewormed and microchipped. To meet this sweet pup, fill out an application today! https://www.carverscotths.org/dogs

Story
Location: St Cloud, MN Meet NFL — A Loyal Teammate Ready for her Forever Home 🐾 NFL is a Husky mix with a friendly personality and the classic charm of a Northern breed. She’s an outgoing, people-loving dog who truly shines around children and enjoys being part of the action with her family. If you’re looking for a companion who wants to be involved in daily life, NFL is your gal. True to her Husky roots, NFL thrives in cooler weather and loves long, frequent walks, hikes or runs. She has a medium energy level — happy to get out and explore, but also content to relax once she’s had her exercise. She’s intelligent and eager to learn, though she does have that signature independent streak that makes Northern breeds so unique and full of character. And yes, she can be a little vocal when she’s excited — it’s all part of her personality! NFL gets along well with other dogs and enjoys canine companionship. However, she has a strong prey drive and cannot live with cats. A cat-free home is a must for everyone’s comfort and safety. With her friendly nature, love of activity, and loyal spirit, NFL would do best with a family that enjoys the outdoors and understands the needs of an active breed. In return, she’ll offer companionship, personality, and plenty of adventures. If you’re ready to add a smart, social, and devoted dog to your lineup, NFL is ready to join your team. --------------- The best way to show interest in an animal is to submit an adoption application by visiting our website (www.rescuenetworkmn.org).
