Story
Location : Beresford, SD She really sweet and smart. She has learned to sit already. You have to convince her to go in her kennel but quiet after a few complaints. Sleeps in it overnight. Loves treats and is trying to learn to be gentle and contain her excitement. Loves toys and bones. Plays really well with dogs. And respects the boundaries of one dog that prefers less play time. She's interested in the cats but has been nice so far. Did really well in the car too. She is doing really well with potty training. --------------- The best way to show interest in an animal is to submit an adoption application by visiting our website (www.rescuenetworkmn.org). Story
Location: Rutledge, MN Hi my name's Baloo (like off the jungle book) I love up to my name I love to run and dance and sing! I'm a very excited boy that doesn't slow down! I'm taking 1 Mike walks twice a day with my foster mom and the neighbor dogs and even that doesn't wear me out for long! I love to play with kids!! I am clumsy and large though so my kid friends tend to age a little older then 5+ years! I'm such a good boy I know sit, stay, come, lay down, shake and touch. I'm working on my recall but if there is something interesting we have to check it out! I do fabulous with out her dogs and cats however I don't recognize how big I am so I tend to push the smaller dogs or cats around, my foster mom corrects me by saying easy and then I remember to be gentle. I do pretty good on a leash if we have dogs with but when I'm by myself I like to pull we are working on that with my foster mom! My forever family should be active and love to play!! My foster mom would love if they have a fenced yard too because I do sometimes ignore my recall if I'm distracted so if you don't have a fence a tie out is necessary! I am kennel trained and I do very well in the kennel unless my foster mom sleeps in to late (which isn't easy I sing to her to wake her up) anyways to know more about me or if you think your a good fit apply to adopt me so I can meet you duh! --------------- The best way to show interest in an animal is to submit an adoption application by visiting our website (www.rescuenetworkmn.org). Story
Location: Burbank, SD Since you're reading this, you're obviously looking for a new best friend! Hey so am I and my name is Murphy. I don't care how old you are but in case that matters to you, I'm just a cute little puppy born on March 14th 2023 and I'll need lots of attention and love. My momma was incredibly lucky to have found this great foster mom who let my mom crash and have me & my 6 siblings. Even though sometime my foster mom is a little weird; she taught me and my siblings how to use a litter box of pellets for pees and poos until the weather is warmer and I've had my vaccines. She likes to play tug of war, sneaks me treats and during TV time she cuddles me like a baby. She thinks I'm super cute with my curved tail and pointy ears. My perfect match would be someone who will be patient with me and teach me all the doggie things. When I'm not admiring your every move, I'd love to be playing children. My resident 10 year old loves to play vet with me and teaches me new tricks everyday. So, what do you say? Wanna be besties? -------------- The best way to show interest in an animal is to submit an adoption application by visiting our website (www.rescuenetworkmn.org). Story
Location: Spirit Lake, IA Hi, my name is Vance! I am a big puppy that loves to play! I enjoy running around in my current back yard and playing with all the toys and dogs they have. I seem to get along quite well with dogs of all sizes but can sometimes forget my size when playing with the little pups. My foster family hasn't taken me on a walk yet but I think I'd really love it! They also let me sleep in their room with them at night on a doggie bed and I do great! I am potty trained and fully vetted. I am still getting use to being in my kennel while my humans are at work but I do ok. I would be a great addition to any family- I am cute, cuddly and I don't make much of a fuss! I love to cuddle and watch movies, hang out with you while you do stuff, and of course play! All I need now is a home to call my own! No kitties for me! Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.     Piper is a sweet Husky mix female, about 5 years old and about 62 lbs.  She has had a rough life, and needs a person with savvy and understanding to help a dog like her.  We are looking for a lower key home for her, adult only and although she can play and be good with other dogs, it would be best for her to be the only dog.  (She can display food aggression with other dogs).  She needs time to decompress and trust as she had previously lived outside with other dogs, then in a vet's office for 6 months, then in a private apartment home for about 2 months, then another person's home for a bit with other dogs, kids and other animals.  We are finding out that she would do best in a low key home and with a person savvy and understanding to a neglected, somewhat undersocialized, (under-trained) dog.  She is also mostly deaf, probably due to untreated ear infections over the years. We did treat her ear infection and that has been cleared but the ear damage is likely permanent.  She was started on injections to treat for heartworm, but reacted poorly to the 2nd injection, so is on the slow method treatment. She is not spayed due to having heartworm still, but can be when this is cleared.  She responds well to one or two persons caring for her walking her, giving her a normal, low key life.    If you maybe interested to adopt, please let us know!  Interested in adopting? Please complete an appropriate interest application at   https://redemptionroadrescue.rescuegroups.org/forms/form?formid=4003   redemptionroad.mn@gmail.com http://redemptionroadrescue.rescuegroups.org https://www.facebook.com/RedemptionRoadRescue  All animals fully vetted appropriate for age: Spayed or Neutered Rabies vaccine DHPP vaccine 4DX test (@12 months or older) Microchipped Dewormed Flea/tick prevention  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.June 10, 2023, 11:58 am

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Meet Honey Grumbles and Oats, an adorable middle-aged Malamute girl who has captured the hearts of many with her unique way of communicating, reminiscent of the characteristic "talking" nature of Malamute dogs. Honey's journey began on Memorial weekend when she was found running as a stray, wandering without a home or anyone to claim her. Despite efforts to locate her previous owners, no one stepped forward, leaving her without a familiar face to call her own. Fortunately, Honey's luck took a turn for the better when she was brought to a shelter where she received proper care and attention. Now, the stray hold has expired, and she finds herself in temporary boarding, yearning for a loving foster or forever home to provide the stability and companionship she deserves. Honey is eagerly awaiting her upcoming vet appointment, where she will receive the necessary vaccinations to ensure her health and well-being. While she awaits this crucial step, it would be ideal for her to find a home with individuals who possess knowledge and experience with the Malamute breed. They would understand her unique quirks, needs, and be able to communicate with her in the way she knows best. Despite her previous circumstances, Honey is a resilient and affectionate girl. Her expressive eyes reveal a kind and gentle soul, ready to shower her new family with love and loyalty. She thrives on human interaction and craves companionship, enjoying every opportunity to engage in conversations with her endearing Malamute-like vocalizations. Honey Grumbles and Oats is not just a dog; she is a companion who promises to fill your days with joy, laughter, and endless stories. By providing her with a foster or forever home, you will be offering her a second chance at a fulfilling life, while she, in return, will undoubtedly become an inseparable part of your family. So, if you're looking to add a touch of Malamute charm and a lifetime of adventure to your home, consider fostering or adopting Honey, the talking wonder with a heart full of love to give. Honey would prefer as home with a fenced yard so she isn't tempted by her "happy feet" who may be tempted on another adventure:) Honey Grumbles and Oats, so sweet!Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.June 10, 2023, 7:55 am
