Location: Prior Lake, MN Hi, I’m Tonie! I’m just one big happy girl who is eager to please and play. I recently arrived from the Rez and really enjoy running around the yard getting my zoomies out. I am starting to play catch with my foster mom, and really loving playing with toys. I have some energy, so an active family will be best for me to thrive. I can also be relaxed, and love to chew on a bone and take a good nap in the sun. Especially on the chillier days I love sleeping outside, it feels like home. I’m am very dog friendly, eager to make friends and have play dates. I am so happy to be safe and loved. I have grown fond of the kids here and they love to play with calling me the “husky police dog. ” I am working on my training - learning to not be so jumpy and to sit! I have a lot of motivation to listen to commands and come to my name very well. I’m continuing my crate training but do very well in my own area with a bed. Overall, I am such a spunky happy girl with a lot of potential to grow into a fantastic dog with some good training and lots of love. Location: Howard Lake, MN Hi, I'm Gerald! (The Gentle Giant) I am a super sweet, all-around good boy. People tell me I am just a little puppy trapped inside a big dog body. I know the big scar above my left eye is the first thing you notice when you look at me. You might assume a big boy like me was a top dog in dog fighting or used as a bait dog, but that is the furthest from the truth. The story behind my scar might break your heart, but I can promise you it hasn’t broken my spirit. I was starved of love in my past, which just means I am making up for lost time and am ready to receive all the love you have to give! I am still learning how to be a real dog, and I am finding out that life is actually pretty amazing. I am as easy to please as he is to love! My Ideal Home: - Kid-Friendly: I am excellent with smaller kids. However, I truly do not know my own strength. On rare occasions, I can get a little too rambunctious, so keep an eye on me around the little ones. - Dog-Friendly: I am fantastic with other dogs and great with puppies, though my foster parent suggests monitoring puppy playtime. - Pack Style: I can be your only dog, but I would absolutely thrive with a large alpha dog to look up to. I am definitely not an alpha male myself. - Daily Flow: I am completely house-trained. I will vocalize and let you know when I need to go potty or when I am ready to play! My Absolute Favorite Things: - The Outdoors: I love being outside feeling the fresh air. - New Games: I recently realized that playing tug-of-war is actually a game, and guess what? I am really good at it! - Toys: I love balls of all kinds, squeaky or silent. I also adore carrying and chewing my stuffies. - Food: Food is life! I will do just about anything for a tasty treat. Warning: I learn very fast exactly where the treat cupboard is located. My One Little Fear: - Please don't spray me with the garden hose on full blast. Mya was 1 year old when we adopted her in 2022. She’s a good Girl. We adopted her for our daughters. With one child heading off to college and one who is crazy busy all the time we just don’t have the time to give Mya the attention she deserves. Mya does just about anything for a treat. She knows how to sit, lay down, target, shake, and many other fun tricks. She is potty trained. She never has an accident inside even when our busy schedules neglect to let her out properly. She loves pets and people. She is great with our girls and loves to run around and play with her stuffy. She doesn’t jump on people or growl. She does bark occasionally but it’s a one time bark to let you know she needs to go potty. We love Mya and we just want to see her go to a good home who will love her as well. Somewhere with a fenced yard she can run and play. A home that will give her lots of love and attention. All the things she used to get here before our lives got so busy.

Come meet me at one of our two Adoption Events this weekend! 💜 Trove Brewing in Burnsville on Saturday, 6/6 from 2:00pm - 4:00pm 💚 Chuck & Don's in Wayzata on Sunday, 6/7 from 11:00am - 1:00pm Age: approximately 1 year Weight: 31lbs Dog friendly: Yes, requires companion dog in the home. Cat friendly: Yes! Kid friendly: Not tested, but likely fine with older/respectful children. Potty trained: Yes! Crate trained: Yes! Meet Ricky! He is the sweetest little fluff ball ever. At first he was slow to warm up. He liked being near by but wasn’t super interested in playing or cuddling. Now he loves to chase his foster puppy sister around the yard and chew on treats. He still isn’t too interested in toys, but he loves to be by his people and get lots of pets! Ricky walks well on a leash and knows to go potty outside. He has never had a potty accident in his foster home. He also doesn’t mind car rides. Ricky would love a fenced in yard to play in, but would also do fine going potty on a leash. Ricky has tried to wander so a secure fence or a commitment to using a leash is a must for him! Ricky LOVES treats and takes them very gently. He is still learning basic commands, but based on his love of food, he should pick it up quickly. Ricky lives with a doggie foster brother and sister and a kitty foster brother and sister too. He hasn’t had any issue with any of them! In fact, Ricky requires another dog in the home to help him feel brave and confident while he is adjusting and he looks to other dogs for cues. Additionally, Ricky’s fluffy hair will require regular brushing and grooming to avoid painful mattes. Ricky tolerates brushing well, especially when he gets treats! Ricky hopes to meet you soon! She is also super smart and it’s such a joy to see her learn new things. Bell Pepper currently sleeps in a puppy pen with her sisters and is potty pad trained.
