Story
Sleet is a happy, outgoing Lab, Husky and Beagle mix born in rescue on March 14. From day one, he has been cherished and loved. He is a funny guy! One of his favorite moves is a play bow, then his rips off running across the yard. He's cuddly, loving and very sweet. In his foster home, Sleet has been exposed to cats, kids, and other dogs. He’s been on adventures in the car and met lots of different people. He crates nicely, and with a later evening potty break, he sleeps through the night in the crate! He has a head start on potty training and loves to come running full tilt when called. He is ready to find a home that wants to incorporate him into everything they do. Sleet currently weighs about 14# and will be the perfect size for accompanying his people everywhere. He wants to take obedience classes to learn nice manners. He needs to learn all things puppy: walking nicely on leash, seeing new sights and sounds, and experiencing the world. Ongoing socialization will ensure he can lead the life he was meant to. The best fit for Sleet is an active family who sees a dog as a 4-legged family member. They are patient and love to laugh, because with Sleet around, they definitely will! They can provide potty breaks every 2-3 hours at his young age. He could live with a canine sibling or as an only pup with an engaged family. He would love a fenced yard for safe play and exploration and is also suited for a home with a history of keeping dogs safe on leash. Children old enough to understand how to redirect his puppy teeth are a good fit. Sleet can’t wait to meet his forever family and dive right into his new, exciting life! APPLY to adopt him at hoabcr.org/how-to-adopt Sleet is being fostered in Minnetrista, MN. Sleet's adoption fee is $550 + MN sales tax (this includes his neuter). He is up to date on age-appropriate vaccines. He will be neutered and microchipped at the age of roughly 6 months. The cost of this procedure is included in his adoption fee. Upon adoption, all of our dogs go to their new homes with a collar and harness, leash, starter food, blanket, favorite toys & treats. They are current on flea/tick and heartworm prevention. Sleet's siblings Elsa, Blizzard, Snowy and Flurry are also available for adoption. Find all their bios at hoabcr.org (click on Adoptable Dogs)

Elsa is a beautiful, soft-hearted girl that loves to snuggle. She is a thinker and initially shy when meeting new people or seeing new things. She is a Lab, Husky and Beagle mix born in rescue on March 14. From day one, she has been cherished and loved. She is looking for a home that will appreciate her loving nature and help her gain confidence. In her foster home, Elsa has been exposed to cats, kids, and other dogs. She’s been on adventures in the car and met lots of different people. She crates nicely, and with a later evening potty break, she sleeps through the night in the crate! She has a head start on potty training and loves to come running full tilt when called. Elsa currently weighs about 11# and will be the perfect size for accompanying her people everywhere. She wants to take obedience classes to learn nice manners and bond with her people. She needs to learn all things puppy: walking nicely on leash, seeing new sights and sounds, and experiencing the world. Ongoing socialization will ensure she can lead the life she was meant to. The best fit for Elsa is an active family who sees a dog as a 4-legged family member. They are patient and kind and want to slowly show her new things without pressure. They can provide potty breaks every 2-3 hours at her young age. She MUST have a friendly canine sibling in her new home to be a mentor and role model. A fenced yard is a priority for Elsa: she wants to be able to run with abandon! Children old enough to understand how to redirect her puppy teeth are a good fit. Story
Meet Brand! Are you looking for a spunky, blue-eyed husky to brighten your days? This handsome boy is officially on the hunt for his forever pack. Brand LOVES his foster siblings, currently living with two dog siblings and a cat. He absolutely adores them and follows them everywhere. Because he's such a fan of them and it has helped his confidence a lot, we think he'd do best in a home with a furry brother or sister to show him the ropes and keep playtime going! About Brand: Potty Training: so far an A+ student. He's learning what "let's go potty" means and will sprint to the back door. He then will go potty right away when he goes out. He's currently enrolled in "Sit 101" and proving to be a quick learner. With some more reinforcement and repetition, he'll be sitting on command in no time Spunky and ready for adventure: it's been such a joy having him and we know he will make the perfect pet. Brand is ready to join a new pack. Could it be you? Medical Disclaimer: This puppy has been checked by a veterinarian and is overall doing well, but there are a couple of things we want to share so you can make an informed decision: He has a small cataract in his right eye. Right now, it doesn’t seem to bother him or affect his vision much, but it’s something to keep an eye on as he grows. His neurological exam looked normal overall. Based on what we see so far, this may not be anything serious. That said, we can’t say for certain what it means long-term. CSHS is not able to pursue further diagnostics at this time. We just want to be transparent—he’s a sweet pup, and these findings may never cause him any issues, but we want his future family to be fully informed ❤️ All CSHS pups are spayed/neutered, up to date on age-appropriate vaccines, 4DX negative (if older than 6 months), dewormed and microchipped. To meet this sweet pup, fill out an application today! https://www.carverscotths.org/dogs

Story
Location: Hastings, MN Hi, I’m Katya! I’m a big, beautiful, majestic creature that recently arrived from the Rez. I have beautiful eyes and a big fluffy husky coat. My foster mom says my nickname is Maleficent for my large, unique size and calm, collected demeanor. I have met a few dogs now, and I am friendly but also take time to build trust. Once I do, I warm up and start to get playful. I’ve really grown to love my foster sister. My foster home has kitties; at first I was unsure but I’ve really warmed up to them. I just keep my distance and go about my way. I do not chase, so I could live in a home with a calm, cool cat. I’m very relaxed and enjoy chewing on a bone and napping on the deck especially on the chilly days. I have low energy, but also love a good run around the yard. I am searching for a calm, happy home to settle down in and grow to be an amazing family member and partner. If you think that’s you, then I would love to meet you! --------------- The best way to show interest in an animal is to submit an adoption application by visiting our website (www.rescuenetworkmn.org). Story
Location: Prior Lake, MN Hi, I’m Tonie! I’m just one big happy girl who is eager to please and play. I recently arrived from the Rez and really enjoy running around the yard getting my zoomies out. I am starting to play catch with my foster mom, and really loving playing with toys. I have some energy, so an active family will be best for me to thrive. I can also be relaxed, and love to chew on a bone and take a good nap in the sun. Especially on the chillier days I love sleeping outside, it feels like home. I’m am very dog friendly, eager to make friends and have play dates. I am so happy to be safe and loved. I have grown fond of the kids here and they love to play with calling me the “husky police dog. ” I am working on my training - learning to not be so jumpy and to sit! I have a lot of motivation to listen to commands and come to my name very well. I’m continuing my crate training but do very well in my own area with a bed. Overall, I am such a spunky happy girl with a lot of potential to grow into a fantastic dog with some good training and lots of love. If you’re looking for a fun, happy go lucky girl, then that could be me! --------------- The best way to show interest in an animal is to submit an adoption application by visiting our website (www.rescuenetworkmn.org). Story
Location: Buffalo, MN Looking for a dog that likes to keep your yard clean and jump the fence to poop in the neighbors? Don't worry, she comes right back. Or one that enjoys cats - to the point she licks them. Oh and people.. if you need daily hugs, she will give them to you! Snuggles? She's got them. Not great in a kennel? Her too. Looking for a dog to put a fun eye patch on? She'll let ya since she can't see out of one side (aka the eye is gone) Dogs? Yup she likes them too. She likes to play rough . It makes up for the missing eye. Office friend? She's your girl and watches you (depending what side her head is if its the one with an eye or not) quietly slave away to pay for a sturdy kennel, food, and paying the neighbors for pooping in their yard. Don't like dog kisses? She's not for you then. Walking on a leash? A+++ If dogs had Tinder, we know her inbox would be full. --------------- The best way to show interest in an animal is to submit an adoption application by visiting our website (www.rescuenetworkmn.org).
