Story
Maggie is an energetic young female that is sweet and smart. Maggie was in a rough situation where owner had too many dogs and could not afford vet care. She had a litter of puppies and was a great mom. We got her spayed and updated on vaccinations so she is very much ready for a forever home! Maggie is a perfect size, not too big and not too small. 😊 She loves attention and is very affectionate. Maggie does great w/bigger dogs and would be fine with older children. She is housetrained and does well on a leash.

Story
Location: St. Paul, MN Sammy is an almost-3-year-old husky mix who will be a great match if you are looking for an energetic and intelligent dog companion! While he's a mix, his husky personality shines through. He’s active, smart but strong-willed, and enjoys both companionship and quiet space to himself. Sammy does best with a confident handler who enjoys working with a determined dog. He’s made great progress with leash training, and he has a lot of with a game of fetch. A securely fenced yard would be ideal, as he loves being outside and can be a bit of an escape artist. He’s calm in the house, gets along well with other dogs and cats, and has been so gentle and sweet with his foster family’s young children. He’s crate trained but does not prefer it and does well in the house when left out. He would thrive in a home where he can be active, mentally engaged, and part of a daily routine. For someone who appreciates the husky spirit, Sammy will be a loyal and rewarding companion! --------------- The best way to show interest in an animal is to submit an adoption application by visiting our website (www.rescuenetworkmn.org). Story
Location: Maple Lake, MN This is Wheaties, truly the definition of a good boy despite his hard beginning! Wheaties came into rescue in rougher shape and ended up needing to amputate his front leg. He has since recovered and is thriving as a tripod and is so loving towards everyone he meets. He also has a calm demeanor. Wheaties is potty trained and doesn't need a kennel (not destructive and sleeps on his dog bed or couch when you're gone). He is also great with kids and other dogs! I would also guess that he would do just fine with cats because he's pretty chill (he has not actually been cat tested). He also loves any scratches/pets and will snuggle with you. Once he learns you are his person/people, he will follow you around too. Since he is a tripod now, he is 'low energy' and hasn't been taken on short walks yet since he has been recovering. Because of this, his family will have to be considerate of how much he eats so he doesn't become overweight and put extra strain on his joints. He would love a home that gives him a yard for mental enrichment to compensate for the lack of walks so he can watch birds, squirrels, and sunbathe. *He is still learning how to play with toys. I cannot emphasize how incredible he is and he really is the diamond in the rough. Apply to meet him; I think you will quickly fall in love with him too! --------------- The best way to show interest in an animal is to submit an adoption application by visiting our website (www.rescuenetworkmn.org). Story
Location: Andover, MN Sesi is an absolute sweetheart who has adapted very well to her foster home with two elementary-aged children and two other huskies. Her tail is always wagging and she wants to be near her people and dog friends at all times. She loves her big fluffy bed, snuggling on the couch, laying outside in the sun and hanging out in the office all day while her foster mom works. She is potty trained and does pretty well on a leash but we will keep working on that now that the weather is warming up! We are also working on "sit", she is very smart, and food motivated! Sesi would do best in a forever home with at least one other friendly dog, she really seems to like her pack. She does not like her crate or being put in a separate room, it will be very important she goes to a home where she has access to most spaces. We have not had any issues with her roaming in common spaces while we are gone. If you are looking for an easygoing, loyal dog with a ton of love to give, Sesi is your girl! --------------- The best way to show interest in an animal is to submit an adoption application by visiting our website (www.rescuenetworkmn.org). Story
Location: Sioux Falls, SD Hi everyone! This is Sylvia! She is looking for a very special family to spend the rest of her time with. Sylvia was diagnosed with cancer a few months ago when she went in for surgery and some tumors were found under her tongue. It is unknown how aggressive the cancer is or how much time she has left. However, she is still full of energy and acts like her normal husky self everyday. She also came in with an injured leg, so she had her right rear leg amputated! Sylvia is a fun and goofy girl. She likes to hop around and play. She likes treats and loves her food. She will howl when she has to go potty. She is a bit unsure of new surroundings and sees her kennel as a comfort zone. She is potty trained and kennel trained and hasn't demonstrated any destructive behaviors when out and about in the house. Sylvia would love to meet you and looks forward to reading through your application with us! --------------- The best way to show interest in an animal is to submit an adoption application by visiting our website (www.rescuenetworkmn.org). Story
Location: Woodbury, MN Meet Indie – The Blue-Eyed Beauty Ready for Her Forever Home! 💙🐾 Indie has the most stunning blue eyes you’ve ever seen—and a heart to match! Though she was shy and nervous at first, this sweet girl has blossomed into a confident and loving companion in just a short time. In one month, Indie has already mastered potty training, crate training, and leash walking without pulling. She’s incredibly smart and eager to please. After doing an amazing job raising her puppies, Indie is ready for the next chapter of her life—one where she gets to be the dog, soak up the love, and just enjoy being part of a family. Goofy and playful, Indie gets along wonderfully with the resident dogs in her foster home and loves long walks. She enjoys cuddling in bed at night but often chooses the cool bathroom floor to sleep on—her little quirk! During the day, she’s perfectly content in her crate when left alone. One of her favorite pastimes? Lounging on the deck, watching birds and taking in the sights and sounds of nature. Indie is affectionate, gentle, and full of personality. Now all she needs is a loving home where she can continue to thrive.
