Location: Prior Lake, MN Hi, I’m Tonie! I’m just one big happy girl who is eager to please and play. I recently arrived from the Rez and really enjoy running around the yard getting my zoomies out. I am starting to play catch with my foster mom, and really loving playing with toys. I have some energy, so an active family will be best for me to thrive. I can also be relaxed, and love to chew on a bone and take a good nap in the sun. Especially on the chillier days I love sleeping outside, it feels like home. I’m am very dog friendly, eager to make friends and have play dates. I am so happy to be safe and loved. I have grown fond of the kids here and they love to play with calling me the “husky police dog. ” I am working on my training - learning to not be so jumpy and to sit! I have a lot of motivation to listen to commands and come to my name very well. I’m continuing my crate training but do very well in my own area with a bed. Overall, I am such a spunky happy girl with a lot of potential to grow into a fantastic dog with some good training and lots of love. Gilbert is a soft, fluffy, blue-eyed, white Husky. He is a sweet guy, house trained, crate trained, gets along with dogs of all sizes, and is respectful of cats (even bullies like ours!). He rides well in a car and is good on a leash. While Gilbert appears happy, active, and healthy, he is considered a hospice case. He is being treated for health issues that require he receive his meds on schedule. His favorite things are walks and some love. He does need a secure fence for, if loose, he loves a free and joyous romp through the neighborhood! For someone willing to give him the care he needs, and make his days filled with fun and love, Gilbert would be a wonderful friend!

Hi! My name is Al and I am from Minnesota Al is so sweet and such a goofball. He is super smart, both house and kennel trained and loves to play! Al is great with other dogs and seems to be good with cats (although he has only been around them once for a few hours)! He loves to run around and if he could, he would be outside all day. Although he does love a nice comfy couch or bed inside. From the foster: He is a little skittish around some people but after some time, he does warm up to them. It is best to approach him slowly and let him come to you. Once he trusts you he will fall right into your lap and let you hold him as if he was a tiny lap dog.

Meet Blue-This handsome boy is a sweetheart who just wants to find his forever home. Blue's family had to move overseas and he could not go. It was a little tough on him at first but now he is thriving and just so awesome! Blue is happy, playful, enjoys being with you and a quick learner. Blue is playful with other dogs and walks well on a leash. He loves other dogs and loves romping and playing with squeaky toys. Blue loves his people and enjoys following you around making sure all is well! But if he is not aloowed/invited he respects and learns quickly. Boundaries and expectations are key in Blues life (as it is with any dog) and he follows along well. Blue has great house manners but will howl a bit in the crate at first. Blue enjoys treats and he has lost the extra weight he had when he arrived in rescue. Blue has visited many stores and breweries and is happy to lay under the table!
