Story
So Billys story starts way before him. I lost my husky in a house fire in 2024 and followed adoption pages hoping to one day get another dog. Fast forward to a volunteer reaching out to me from California saying Billy was going to get put down and asking if I could take him. I felt the urge to save him as I could not save my husky from the fire, even though I wasn’t in a place to take Billy. I’ve had him since April and while the sweetest, most cuddly boy I do not have the time or the resources or time to properly take care of him as I work a lot and long hours with no help. I was called to save him but cannot give him the life he deserves and I hope to find him his family.

Story
Sashi is a friendly, outgoing boy who loves meeting new people and making friends wherever he goes. He’d prefer a home with older kids who can match his energy and give him the respectful space he needs to feel comfortable. Previously a farm dog, Sashi was trained to leave chickens and goats alone, but he still has a strong instinct to chase small animals, including cats, so he’ll need a cat-free home. He can also be selective with other dogs and may guard his favorite items, so he’d thrive as an only dog. With the right management and thoughtful introductions, he may be able to live with a compatible canine friend. Sashi knows some basic cues and is an absolute joy to walk, he’s polite on leash and always ready for an adventure. Whether it’s hiking, exploring, or enjoying the outdoors year-round, Sashi will be right by your side with a happy tail and a big smile. If you’re looking for a loyal companion to share your adventures, Sashi is ready to meet you!

Meet Beautiful Hera! This silly girl has so much love to give. She loves playing with her hoomans and zipping around with toys. She was surrendered to us when her previous owner could no longer care for her. She would make an excellent adventure buddy! She walks well on a leash and knows how to sit. She would do best as the only pet in the home.

Story
Rosie was dumped in the country where I live in Western New York with her friend Bo. They got into a Porcupine, it was bad. I trapped them and got them to a vet. Rosie was in very bad shape. Not only did she have quills in her face, but she had a very bad Uterus infection. The vet feared she would not make it. Well, it turns out she also had Lyme disease. Poor girl! Rosie is all better and doing great! She is probably 2 years old and very playful! She loves having another dog to play with. Rosie is sweet and loves her person, but she is higher energy, likes to play all the time. She has stopped chewing on my shoes and she no longer jumps on me. She has learned to use the doggie door and spends most of her time outside playing. She would do best in a home with another younger dog she can play with and she needs a fenced yard or lots of property to play on. She doesn't run away, she knows where home is. She can be timid with strangers at first, but seems to warm up quickly. I don't have a lot of action at my house, so it is unusual for someone besides me to be here. UPDATE - This little dog is really growing on me. She is all personality! She is a clown and can be vocal at times, she woo Woo's at me sometimes, makes me laugh. Rosie does great with all the other dogs and my cat. She likes to sleep on my bed and has sure figured out the couch. She really is very sweet and gentle once given boundaries. She is up-to-date on vaccinations and is spayed. She is on flea tick treatment as well. Link to application http://fs6.formsite.com/savinemallrescueyahoocom/form1/index.html

Story
This VERY handsome boy is Yeti. Yeti is the most wonderful, loving, happy-go-lucky goofball. He loves hikes in the woods, cuddling with his favorite people, and swimming in the stream on our property. He is also wonderfully friendly with people and other dogs. Unfortunately, Yeti has a condition called PICA. This essentially means that he chooses to consume non-food items regularly if given the access to do so. His item(s) of choice is fabrics: toys, blankets, and towels. Since Yeti came in as a stray, we don't actually know if this is something he has always dealt with, or if he has developed this behavior while being a stray. Either way, it has lasted during his stay with us, so he will need to be managed (such as crating him) to prevent him from consuming something unsafe and could result in a costly vet appointment. During his stay, we have allowed Yeti to still have access to all of these items (even unsupervised) since he has clearly not had an issue so far in his life, and he has managed to continue to be successful here. We believe he can have access to toys of his own, but would need to be managed if you have items that you deem valuable and wouldn't want him to consume. Additionally, we believe this trait makes him unsuitable for younger children who are more likely to have a wider assortment of stuffy-type toys or special blankets. Yeti also appeared to have skin allergies on his arrival that we believe to be caused by stress, environmental exposures, or nutrient deficiency from his time as a stray. He was on prescription food to manage his symptoms but has been slowly weaning off of it -- so far he has not had a negative reaction. Additionally, Yeti is on medication to manage his stress levels during his stay with us, which we believe he would benefit from continuing during his transition into a new home (we provide a prescription to take home!) . Considering all of this, his adopters need to have a good understanding of his condition(s) and a solid relationship with their veterinarian. If you are interested in meeting Yeti, call the shelter to schedule an appointment at (603) 472-3647 and press 1 for adoptions.

Story
Meet Gnocchi! This adorable Husky pup is the most playful, kind, and loving girl at the rescue! Gnocchi is full of personality — goofy, energetic, and always ready for fun. She loves every dog she meets and is all about playtime and cuddles. Gnocchi is food-motivated (treats are her #1 love language ), walks nicely on a leash, and is crate trained. She’s the last of our Pasta Litter, and she’s hoping her turn has finally come! Like a true Husky, she can be a little vocal when excited, but unlike her siblings, she doesn’t howl. She’s great with both small and large dogs and adores people. She’s fully vetted, young, and ready for her forever home. While she hasn’t met cats yet, her age and temperament make her a great candidate to adjust well. Gnocchi is looking for an active and loving adopter who’s ready for adventures, snuggles, and plenty of laughs. Not in Texas? No problem! We offer transport to the Pacific Northwest and East Coast. Why should you adopt from a Texas Rescue? Because you will be giving one of our many dogs and cats in need a chance for a better future away from a city that has an animal crisis. We are heartbroken each day with the many incredible and loving animals found wandering our streets. So often are these animals dumped, abandoned, or born on the streets and never find a home to call their own. We are giving them the chance that every animal deserves. We know that since you are looking to add a furry family member to your home here, you will provide the love, care, and attention they need to thrive.  If you have fallen madly in love and would like to make this baby part of your family, then go to https://www.petstablished.com/organization/920716    ##2403935##
