Story
Meet TUCKER!  This handsome guy is one of our Texas 10—a group of pups rescued from life on the Texas streets and in a scrapyard. Tucker has come such a long way since those tough beginnings and is now blossoming into a sweet, loyal companion ready for his forever family. ? Now a little over 1 1/2 year old and about 65 lbs, Tucker is thriving in his foster home in upstate NY! He loves hiking, swimming, and soaking up every season—rain, snow, sunshine, or leaves, he’s your go-to adventure buddy.  Here’s what makes Tucker special:  &#226&#156&#133 Dog-friendly (would love a buddy or be happy solo) &#226&#156&#133 Crate- and house-trained &#226&#156&#133 Loves the outdoors—especially water! &#226&#156&#133 Thrives in a calm, quiet home (no small kiddos, please) &#226&#156&#133 Learning to trust new people with time and patience &#226&#156&#133 Recently introduced to cats—and doing great! Tucker is searching for a loving forever home to help him keep building confidence and continue his journey toward the good life he truly deserves. Story
Looking for the perfect balance of playful and laid-back? Roxie is your girl! Roxie isn’t your typical pittie mix—her DNA test revealed she’s 37% Husky (plus a fun mix of other breeds!). She came to us last year from the streets of Dallas, Texas, where she arrived with her pups in tow. Now about 5 years old, spayed, fully vetted, and officially heartworm free, Roxie is ready for her happily-ever-after. This sweet, happy girl loves to play and already knows her basics—she’s a real smarty pants! She gets along well with other dogs and kids, but would do best in a cat-free home. Roxie is thriving in her foster home in upstate NY, but she’s waiting for a forever family to call her own. All of our animals are examined by a veterinarian, given age-appropriate vaccinations, de-wormed, microchipped, spayed or neutered, heart-worm tested, and treated if necessary. Story
Say hello to your new favorite family member LEXI!  Lexi was taken in by RuffDog Rescue NE after her previous owner was no longer able to care for her.  Lexi is an energetic, playful youmg dpg with crystal blue eyes and ears for days.  Her previous owner says that Lexi is a very social and affectionate couch potato who enjoys spending her time wherever her people are.  She loves to go on long walks and play with toys.  She is great with other dogs and people, including children.  Lexi is crate crained and knows several commands.  Please consider sweet Lexi if you're looking for a loving, happy, friendly young dog! Apply for consideration to adopt at www.rdrne.org. You must be at least 25 years of age and live within a 5-hour driving radius of Thompson PA. We check veterinary references and require all pets within the home to be spayed/neutered, up to date on all vaccinations, and maintained on heartworm and flea & tick preventatives. ##2478088##
