MONTE, MONTE, MONTE… WHAT THE HECK ARE YOU?!
Seriously. Someone get this boy a DNA test because we have QUESTIONS.
He's got the face of a Husky, the legs of a Corgi, the body of a little baked potato, and a chocolatey coat that makes him look like someone dipped him in a Hershey's bar.
Whatever he is, he's ONE OF A KIND, and we are absolutely obsessed!
Meet Monte!
Monte was found as a stray, and unfortunately, his owners never came to claim him. So now this uniquely assembled little gentleman is hanging out at animal control, waiting for someone to give him his ticket out!
And we think it's about time someone did!
Here's the scoop on our chocolate-covered mystery mutt:
Higher energy! Monte has some pep in those little legs! He needs a family who understands that exercise, playtime, and structure are important for keeping those puppy antics in check.
Play hard, relax harder! Give this boy a good romp around the yard, and he's happy to plop himself down in the grass or snuggle up next to you.
Potential doggy bestie! Monte seems to do well with other dogs and would probably LOVE having a furry friend to help burn off some of that energy!
Personality PLUS! Between his unique looks and playful spirit, Monte is guaranteed to bring a little extra entertainment into someone's life.
Now, let's talk about something important.
Monte is still waiting at animal control.
And while he's making the best of his situation, we know kennel life isn't where a dog like Monte belongs.
He needs room to run. Grass to roll around in. Someone to help him learn his manners. Maybe a doggy sibling to wrestle with. And most importantly, a family who will love every wonderfully weird inch of him.
We don't want to wait until kennel life starts taking a toll on this happy boy.
WE WANT TO GET HIM OUT NOW!
