Story
Hi, I’m Lil Bit, a pretty little husky girl with bright eyes, a curly tail, and just enough pep to keep life fun without turning your house upside down. I’m 2 years old, about 45 pounds, and I’ve already been spayed, so I’m ready to focus on the important part, finding my person. I came to Happy Bark after my owner passed away, and while that was a big change, I’ve stayed the same sweet girl with a really nice personality. I’m good with other dogs, heartworm negative, and not nearly as high energy as people expect from a husky. I enjoy being out and about, but I’m not out here plotting escapes or looking for trouble. I haven’t tried climbing, I haven’t been digging, and I seem like the kind of girl who would be happy stretching my legs in a fenced yard, then coming inside to relax with my family. What I’d really love is a home where I can be included in everyday life and not spend long hours shut away in a crate. I think I’d make a wonderful companion for someone who wants a friendly, lovely dog with husky charm and a more easygoing style. If you’ve been hoping for a beautiful sidekick who will look up at you like you’re the best thing in the world, I think we should meet. Lil Bit's adoption fee is $275. Application Link: https://www.shelterluv.com/embed/animal/ARH-A-20 Adoption Fee: $310 All dogs are fixed, up-to-date on age appropriate shots and micro-chipped. What a loyal girl. Soki is about 3 years old, about 65lbs, and a husky boxer mix. She is slow to trust but once she does, you will have a dog that loves you like no other. She is a queen and with that comes some sass from her husky heritage. She can carry on a conversation and loves to sit on the dining table chairs when doing so. I have had many dogs doing rescue and none can match her personality or devotion. She is not the best with cats and can be dog selective. Does not do well with bossy dogs.

Story
Thor is 8 years old. He is great with all adults and children.we’ve had him for 4 years and he is great with everyone. He loves to play and is affectionate with everyone. He loves to travel in cars and when anyone sees him they want to pet him and he loves to be petted. We have food, bowls, leashes, shock collars and remotes. His only issues are anxiety issues. Always has to be with humans. We have 2 cats and he is good with them. We’re in our mid 70’s with health issues and we need to get him into a good home.

Story
Lizzie (5) and Lilac (8) are a very special bonded mother and daughter duo who are searching for a patient and loving home together. Both girls spent their entire lives in a puppy mill where they were used only for breeding. They lived in poor conditions with very little human interaction, socialization, or handling. Because of this, they came to us extremely overwhelmed by the world outside of the only life they had ever known. When Lizzie and Lilac first arrived, they were terrified of their new surroundings. They spent most of their time hiding in the corner and struggled to adjust to the sudden change from their previous rabbit-hutch style living conditions. Over the past several months, they have been slowly working through rehabilitation and learning that people can be kind and that life can be safe and predictable. Lilac, the mother, is understandably the more shy of the two. After spending eight years in a puppy mill without socialization, she is still very timid. She is not mean in any way and does enjoy gentle attention, but she will not seek it out and needs a patient person who understands that trust takes time. Lizzie is a bit more outgoing than her mom and will come to people for attention once she gets to know them. Both girls are incredibly sweet and loving at heart, they simply need time and understanding to feel safe. Lizzie and Lilac rely heavily on each other for comfort and confidence, and because of this strong bond they must be adopted together. They truly thrive on routine and having each other nearby. Their future family must understand that these girls will need continued patience, consistency, and a slow transition into their new life. They are looking for a calm household willing to allow them to move at their own pace while continuing to build confidence. Because they are still easily overwhelmed and can be flight risks, a secure fenced-in yard is required. They would do best in a quieter home without young children, as high energy environments can make them nervous. They are also not suitable for homes with cats. Despite their difficult start in life, these girls have come so far during their time in rehabilitation. With the right family, patience, and continued guidance, Lizzie and Lilac have the potential to blossom into truly wonderful companions. They have already endured more than most dogs ever should. Now they deserve the chance to experience what it means to finally be loved, safe, and home. ADOPTION FEE WAIVED.
