Kibo can take some time to open up with strangers, but he is hoping you'll see past his tough exterior to the silly pup we know he is. He seems to already know some basic skills like "sit", and his ideal home will continue training to set him up for success. Meet Shira! This pretty mama came to us with her two sons as strays. We aren't sure how this furry family ended up on the streets, but Shira is ready for the next chapter of her life! It seems Shira has been used for litter after litter, and she is ready for a fresh start learning how to be a normal dog instead of a mom. She is a playful girl and loves being outside! She absolutely loves squeaky toys, tennis balls, or anything else toy shaped. Shira does well with other dogs. Available for adoption at: Muskingum County K-9 Adoption Center 1854 East Pike, Zanesville, Ohio 43701 740-453-0273 Open Tues-F 11-5, Saturday 11-4, Sunday 10-3. Closed on Monday. Adoption fee is $130 which includes spay/neuter, combo, rabies, and bordetella vaccines, heartworm test and dog license. (Although some of the dogs come to the pound spayed or neutered, most do not. If you adopt a dog that has not yet been spayed/neutered, we will set up an appointment for the dog to be spayed/neutered before it can leave the facility.)
