Story
Snoopy is a very loyal, loving dog that happily lived in the South Carolina country with his owner Steve. When Snoopy moved to Michigan and into my home, he immediately showed heightened anxiety. Snoopy and Steve moved in November and my home is a smaller home with 3 extra people (myself and my teens) and two extra fur friends which has not been easy. We tried to expose the dogs to one another but unfortunately they do not get along, so we have had to keep Snoopy separate from my dogs. My Border Collie/Jack Russell is a yapper so he stresses Snoopy out. Snoopy nipped us a few times due to being stressed but has not nipped in over a month since we started prozac. Snoopy is an amazingly loving dog, but we feel he will be so much happier in a quieter home, with loving owners and no other pets. A loving owner that can offer him a happy home, some additional training and a fenced yard is essential.

Story
Hello, my name is Raphael!I`m a very handsome siberian husky looking for my forever family with an active lifestyle.I am a very energetic breed that will need lots of exercise but I also like to chill from time to time!I am super sweet and enjoy being petted and giving kisses. I`m also a very smart breed and would enjoy some training classes.I am double coated and have LOTS of fur. I will need to be brushed and groomed regularly to make sure my coat looks its best.I get along with other dogs but I am not neutered yet so it would be best if I am the only dog in the home for now.It would be best that I go to a home with a fenced in yard to make sure I don`t wander and get lost.I am up to date on my vaccinations but will need a regular veterinarian established to make sure I stay as healthy as I can be.If you are interested in adopting me or another homeless pet at Macomb County Animal Control, walk-in adoption hours are Monday-Friday from 10am-4pm.My adoption fee is $150

Story
Helllllllllo there! My name is Buzz! It's a great name for me because I'm very lively, energetic, and always in motion! I am a very fun, active fella, with a zest for life!! I love to play with toys, that is my choice for motivation, even over treats. Pull out a good toy, especially ones I can whip around and toss in the air, and I will have a blast amusing myself (and probably amuse you as well). I'm your typical Husky meaning I definitely like attention from the humans (and you'll know because I'll jump on ya when I'm excited), but I also like to do my own thing and be in my own little world. I am a very happy go lucky fella, with a go go go personality. I'm eager on leash because I want to run and have fun, so I will need some work not pulling too much when we go out. I would love an adopter familiar with us Huskies, as we have lots of interesting traits! Or someone patient, active, and willing to meet my high energy, mischievous needs! I also need a home without cats, as I get carried away with them and let my inner husky out, if you know what I mean. I am so excited to find my new home!See Buzz on Tiktok! https://tinyurl.com/545zhmz3

Story
Hi I'm Bolte! If you are wondering how I got that name..its probably because I like to bolt out of the yard and go on many adventures! My favorite thing to do is go adventuring on my own so you will see that I have been at the humane society many times. That being said, I think I would do fine if I got the appropriate amount of exercise and mental stimulation every day. Which means lots of walkies!! and lots of games! And being supervised in the back yard.Even though I'm a senior I've still got lots of spunk and energy and a ton of love to give. I am pretty smart and know things like sit, down, shake, wait, drop it....but in true husky fashion I only like to do them what I want to.Anyways, If you are looking for a sweet and friendly boy like me to keep you on your toes, then apply to adopt me today! I can't wait to meet you!

We do our best to provide information that will help determine if the animal might be a good fit for you. Please note that behaviors may change in a home environment. We also ask our applicants to assume that any animal they adopt from us will need to be potty-trained and learn house manners, although this is not always the case. In most cases, the listed breeds are also a best guess. Our online animal bios are designed to provide as much information as possible and answer some anticipated questions. We do not have the resources to respond to emails with more specific questions. We are receiving an unusually high number of applications at this time! Applications are reviewed as they are received, but we do not select adopters on a first-come basis. Our job is to ensure each pet is placed into the best fit home for them and that adopters are paired with an animal that is a good fit for their lifestyle. All animals will stay on Petfinder until they are “pending adoption”. Therefore, if an animal is still listed, we are still accepting applications for him/her! Please do not send inquiries about a specific animal's availability as this can change quickly over the course of the day. The fastest way to get a response is to simply submit an application!
