Story
Meet Jasper – Your Next Adventure Buddy and Certified Good Boy! Jasper is a lovable mixed-breed sweetheart who has truly blossomed during his time at the Ranch — a genuine diamond in the ruff! When he first arrived as a shy, unsure teenager, it was clear he hadn’t been given the best start in life. But over the past two years, this gentle soul has transformed into a goofy, affectionate, eager-to-please pup who’s more than ready to find a family of his very own. Jasper is the total package. He’s playful but easygoing, loving without being needy, and charmingly low-maintenance for a dog with such a big heart. One of his favorite things in the whole world? Belly rubs. He’ll happily trade treats for a good scratch and will proudly show off his obedience skills just to make you smile. He walks beautifully on a leash, enjoys grooming sessions, and is always excited for an outing — whether it’s a quick car ride or a full-blown adventure. Jasper gets along well with most other dogs of all sizes. In fact, when a tiny dog once wandered into his yard, Jasper greeted the surprise visitor with calm curiosity and zero fuss. He’s an incredibly mellow, easygoing guy, making him a wonderful fit for a multi-dog home or a pup who loves social time at the dog park. And when it comes to fun? Jasper shines brightest around water. A splash in the pool, a stroll by the river, a day at the beach — if it involves getting his paws wet, Jasper is all in. With his endearing clumsiness, joyful energy, and tender-hearted nature, Jasper is the kind of dog who will quickly work his way right into your heart. If you’re searching for a loyal companion who’s ready for summer fun, outdoor adventures, and a lifetime of love, come meet Jasper at the Ranch today — your adventure buddy is waiting. Story
Meet Tule, a delightfully chill female Husky who breaks all the stereotypes about her breed! While she retains the stunning, soulful eyes and striking looks of a Husky, Tule is a laid-back companion who prefers to go with the flow. She is incredibly gentle and gets along wonderfully with other dogs, making her the perfect addition to a multi-dog household or a regular at the dog park. Tule is a people-oriented girl who loves human affection and is quick to show her love in return. Her absolute favorite pastime? Riding shotgun! She is the ultimate car-ride companion, happily watching the world go by from the front seat. When she’s not exploring or cuddling, you can find her playing with her favorite tennis balls. Whether it's a calm day at home or a car ride adventure, Tule is ready to be your loving, loyal best friend! Thank you for considering adopting a Rescue Ranch dog. Story
Meet Jett — a 2-year-old German Shepherd mix with a heart full of love and a story to tell. Jett was adopted as a puppy and lived a wonderful life filled with hiking, camping, daily park adventures, and dedicated obedience training. He had the best role model — a big brother GSD who helped raise him. Jett was his mama’s everything, sharing a special bond that made him the sweetest, most devoted companion. Tragically, Jett’s mama passed away suddenly, and he found himself back with us. After some much-needed TLC and time to decompress, Jett is feeling more confident and ready to find his forever home again. Jett is house-trained, crate-trained, leash-trained, and a total gentleman with excellent manners and obedience skills. He even sports the cutest curly-q hair on his ears, adding to his unique charm! His energy level is just right — medium energy and medium drive — making him a perfect fit for families who enjoy balanced activity and relaxation. Jett adores people and has been wonderful with children and strangers alike. He does okay with the right dogs but would do best in a home where introductions are handled thoughtfully. Jett would be happiest in a home without cats or small pets — we want to ensure a safe and happy environment for everyone. Like the intelligent German Shepherd mix he is, Jett strives to please with a big, happy smile. He does have occasional discomfort in his elbows from a genetic joint condition but manages it beautifully with occasional Carprofen and a joint supplement (Cosequin). He’s smart enough to know his limits and never overdoes it. If you’re looking for a loyal, loving, and well-mannered companion with a heart of gold, Jett might be the perfect match for your family. Call the Ranch today to meet this special boy and give him the loving home he deserves! Thank you for considering adopting a Rescue Ranch dog. Story
Meet Comet – The One-Eyed Wonder with a Heart Full of Zoomies and Love! If you're searching for a dog who’s equal parts sweet, silly, and soulful — look no further than Comet! This stunning husky mix isn’t just a pretty face (though he definitely is); he’s also bursting with personality and love. When Comet first came to us, he was battling severe glaucoma in his right eye. Unfortunately, the eye couldn’t be saved, and it had to be removed. But don’t worry — Comet hasn’t missed a beat! He zips around like nothing ever happened and still does his signature “consolidated zoomies” (picture: tucked booty, tight happy circles, dramatic play bows). It’s impossible not to smile when he’s in motion! True to his husky nature, Comet’s got opinions and isn’t afraid to talk back with a little sass. But under all that fun is a big softie. He shakes with excitement when he sees his favorite people and will rub along the fence line just to be close and soak up some pets. He’s also a gentle playmate — respectful, kind, and never too rough during play. Whether he’s wrestling with his humans or curling up for cuddles, he knows how to keep it sweet. Comet came in with a small husky friend named Sascha (who has since found her forever home), and now he’s hoping it’s finally his turn. If you're ready for a goofy, affectionate, one-eyed wonder who will fill your days with laughter and love, Comet is waiting to meet you. Call the Ranch today and come fall in love with this lovable husky! Thank you for considering adopting a Rescue Ranch dog. Story
Meet Calypso! Sweet. Silly. Sofa-surfer. Calypso has been patiently waiting for her forever home since December of 2022, and we think it’s high time she got the love she so richly deserves! This mellow, affectionate, and delightfully playful girl has become a staff favorite — and once you meet her, you’ll understand exactly why. She’s got the perfect mix of cuddle and charm. Calypso is incredibly people-friendly and does well with most kids, making her a lovely candidate for a small family. She's affectionate without being clingy, and playful without bouncing off the walls — just the right balance for a cozy, loving home. Her Resume? Impressive! Knows “Sit” and is leash trained Uses a doggy door like a pro LOVES treats (training will be a breeze!) Already halfway to learning “Shake” and “Roll Over” Doesn’t mind paw handling, tail touches, or even forehead kisses — she's a touch-positive queen ‍ Her Ideal Canine Companion? While Calypso has met all kinds of pups during her time at the shelter, she tends to bond best with confident male dogs. She’s currently living it up with her buddy Cheezit — the two of them zoom, chase, and play until it’s time for a good long nap. Bonus Fun Facts: She has a cat-like personality — enjoys perching on tall surfaces and power-napping like a pro. However, she’d prefer to be the only "cat" in the house — no actual felines, please. Whether she’s giving you her paw, rolling over for a belly rub, or quietly lounging beside you, Calypso just wants to be someone’s girl. Could that someone be you? Call the Ranch today to meet Calypso and give her the happily-ever-after she’s been waiting for.
