Story
Are you ready for the full Monty? If you are looking for a smart, young, athletic dog, Monty may be just right for you! He is an extremely happy and good-natured boy who craves connection with people. Monty is a quick learner! He's already mastered "Sit" and "Down," and is working on taking treats gently. He walks fairly well on-leash, and would make a fantastic outdoor adventure buddy.  He is quite exuberant and tends to get a bit excited when first greeting a friend. However, he's eager to please and once he knows he has your attention he tries really hard to earn your approval.  Monty is dog social with most of the dogs he's been introduced to here at the Ranch and might do well with the right canine companion. He even loves kids and despite his size tries his best to be gentle with them.  If Monty sounds like your perfect match, call the Ranch to meet him today! Thank you for considering adopting a Rescue Ranch dog. While they are with us, each and every rescue dog receives the best of care in a loving and nurturing environment. Their routines include daily playgroups or partnering with dog buddies, quality time walking or being groomed, and two meals a day with dog biscuits for dessert. All of our dogs receive the best in veterinary care and are spay/neutered, microchipped, heartworm negative, and fully vaccinated.  The standard adoption donation fee for all dogs and puppies is $300 (unless a reduced fee applies )  APPLY NOW       October 14, 2024, 6:13 pm

Story
This darling mixed-breed boy is a true diamond in the ruff! Jasper came to the Ranch as a teen-ager who had clearly not had a lot of good experiences with humans. In the almost two years that he's been with us, he's matured into an adorable, well-meaning, slightly clumsy dog who will do pretty much anything for your attention. If you're looking for a good-natured, goofy, adventurous dog to join you for all the summer fun, read on! Jasper is an easy-care boy who just wants to earn your approval any way he can. He's happy to work for belly rubs in lieu of treats, running through his people-pleasing stock of obedience cues. Your attention is his biggest reward. He knows how to walk on leash and even enjoys his grooming sessions. He's always up for a play session and gets along with all kinds of other dogs, big and small. He'd fit well into a multi-dog household. This makes him a great candidate if you're looking for a pooch who will join you for a walk to the local dog park. Jasper also loves water and would enjoy trips to visit the beach, lake, or river--or even just join you in the pool. If you find Jasper's puppy-dog eyes hard to resist, call the Ranch to meet this charming class clown today! Thank you for considering adopting a Rescue Ranch dog. Story
Guppy is one smart cookie! This good-tempered, docile pup already knows Sit, Down, Shake, Fetch, and other cues, and learns new things very quickly. For just a teen-aged pup, Guppy has a lot under his belt! He is mostly house-trained, sleeps in a crate, and walks beautifully on leash. He's been thoroughly socialized with other dogs and gets along with canines of various sizes and temperaments. He loves to rough-house with other dogs his size when he gets the opportunity, but will back off when told to by an assertive adult dog of any size. He even enjoys car rides. What Guppy still needs is continued socialization around people and human environments. He's had a great start thanks to his foster experience and is ready to make a family very happy. If you're looking for an all-around wonderful, easy-to-care-for family dog, call the Ranch to meet Guppy today! Puppy adoptions are $300. Most Rescue Ranch puppies are raised through our puppy foster program. Puppies will have met adults, children, often other dogs, maybe cats. Before going home, at minimum, all of our puppies will have received the first two puppy shots for parvo and distemper, and been dewormed. When they are at least 8 weeks old, puppies are given a wellness exam by a licensed veterinarian.  Puppies are also microchipped and registered with   24PetWatch . We require spay/neutering at 6-8 months old (or the appropriate age for giant breeds)  by our veterinarian, when they will also be given their first rabies vaccine. Alternatively adopters can choose to have the procedure done by their own vet (proof required).
