Story
Handsome Jax is a goofy, happy dog with an eye-catching auburn and white coat. He came to us from a shelter in Fresno and he was living as a stray before he was impounded. He knows how to Sit and Shake and he's very loving as long as you don't boss him around. If you give him respect, he'll return it with lots of hugs and kisses.   Jax is mature but would love to take you for hikes, walks, runs, swims, and anything else you can think of involving the great outdoors.  Do you have space in your heart and life for Jax? Then call the Ranch to meet him today!   Thank you for considering adopting a Rescue Ranch dog. While they are with us, each and every rescue dog receives the best of care in a loving and nurturing environment. Their routines include daily playgroups or partnering with dog buddies, quality time walking or being groomed, and two meals a day with dog biscuits for dessert. All of our dogs receive the best in veterinary care and are spay/neutered, microchipped, heartworm negative, and fully vaccinated.  The standard adoption donation fee for all dogs and puppies is $300 (unless a reduced fee applies )  APPLY NOW       July 18, 2024, 9:18 pm

Story
Are you ready for the full Monty? If you are looking for a smart, young, athletic dog, Monty may be just right for you! He is an extremely happy and good-natured boy who craves connection with people. Monty is a quick learner! He's already mastered "Sit" and "Down," and is working on taking treats gently. He walks fairly well on-leash, and would make a fantastic outdoor adventure buddy.  He is quite exuberant and tends to get a bit excited when first greeting a friend. However, he's eager to please and once he knows he has your attention he tries really hard to earn your approval.  Monty is dog social with most of the dogs he's been introduced to here at the Ranch and might do well with the right canine companion. He even loves kids and despite his size tries his best to be gentle with them.  If Monty sounds like your perfect match, call the Ranch to meet him today! Thank you for considering adopting a Rescue Ranch dog. While they are with us, each and every rescue dog receives the best of care in a loving and nurturing environment. Story
Jasper came to us at the young age of just 7 months and has been with us ever since. He did not get much socialization with people at a young age so he can be a bit wary of strangers. Once he warms up to you he is incredibly loving and playful.  Jasper does well with most other dogs, even little ones!  Not only is he very eager to please and easy to train, but this lovely young man is already incredibly easy when it comes to grooming (which is very helpful with his husky roots)! He has allowed staff to pick him up to place him in the tub, brush him all over, and even trim his nails! He still needs some help containing his excitement but all this young boy really needs is a family to give him the love and attention he craves. If he sounds perfect for you, come meet him today!  Thank you for considering adopting a Rescue Ranch dog. Story
Guppy is one smart cookie! This good-tempered, docile pup already knows Sit, Down, Shake, Fetch, and other cues, and learns new things very quickly. For just a teen-aged pup, Guppy has a lot under his belt! He is mostly house-trained, sleeps in a crate, and walks beautifully on leash. He's been thoroughly socialized with other dogs and gets along with canines of various sizes and temperaments. He loves to rough-house with other dogs his size when he gets the opportunity, but will back off when told to by an assertive adult dog of any size. He even enjoys car rides. What Guppy still needs is continued socialization around people and human environments. He's had a great start thanks to his foster experience and is ready to make a family very happy. If you're looking for an all-around wonderful, easy-to-care-for family dog, call the Ranch to meet Guppy today! Puppy adoptions are $300. Most Rescue Ranch puppies are raised through our puppy foster program. Puppies will have met adults, children, often other dogs, maybe cats. Before going home, at minimum, all of our puppies will have received the first two puppy shots for parvo and distemper, and been dewormed. When they are at least 8 weeks old, puppies are given a wellness exam by a licensed veterinarian.  Puppies are also microchipped and registered with   24PetWatch . We require spay/neutering at 6-8 months old (or the appropriate age for giant breeds)  by our veterinarian, when they will also be given their first rabies vaccine. Alternatively adopters can choose to have the procedure done by their own vet (proof required).

Story
Star is a good girl. She's been thru basic training and is still eligible for intermediate. She gets along great with the kids and listens very well. She's still a pup so sometimes she doesn't always listen. Unfortunately I am at work 8 hrs a day and she does escape her kennel and destroys things like clothes and shoes. She does walk on a lesh but still pulls. Would be great to be with a family who does a lot of dog friendly activities.
