Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Rex is looking for his forever home. He was surrendered at just a mere 8 months old to One Dog at a Time ODAAT because of his severe separation anxiety. He was born in February 2018 and is a Husky, Terrier mix. A lot of people might have given up on Rex. He is deaf, suffered from severe separation anxiety, and had no training whatsoever. But the people at ODAAT believed he'd be a perfect candidate for their training partnership with a local prison, Rockview. Rex learned great basic commands while staying at the prison and a couple of really special ones. He is no longer in the program and is ready for his forever home. Because Rex is deaf, we truly feel he would require another pup to be able to live life to the fullest. Older children only. Rex is protective of his people. He is committed through and through with the person he bonds with. He will require a special family to be able to bring him to his full potential. Rex will not be able to be a social butterfly. If you're looking for a dog that will be a great companion, this is your boy! His best friends are Deitz, Vader and Dugan, three of our ODAAT rescue pups. So if you are in the market for an awesome pair, trio, or quad group... just let us know! Applications can be found at  www.onedogatatime.us.   Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.May 3, 2024, 9:56 am

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Meet Saraph! This energetic sweetheart (born 10/1/21) loves rolling around in the grass under the sun at her foster home. This friendly girl is house trained and is working on building a positive association with her crate. She is good with other dogs and cats. Saraph thinks she is a small dog and loves to cuddle and try to sit in your lap. While she will play with toys, she prefers neck scratches and being as close to her owner as possible. Slow introductions are best when meeting smaller animals. Saraph has had a few experiences with children and appears to be gentle and patient with them.   In the morning, Saraph loves to speak. She will attempt to help with yardwork, keeping your grass down by munching on it. Always curious, Saraph enjoys sticking her nose in the air during car rides. Saraph is great on the leash and is working on not jumping at every squirrel that runs past. Saraph is food motivated and picks up on cues very quickly. This intelligent girl loves a good puzzle.  This girl has everything going for her with the proper time and attention!Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.IMPORTANT - PLEASE READ Click here for the ADOPTION APPLICATION if you are interested in adopting this pet. Story
Meet Lexie! This 3 year old husky is ready to find her new forever home. She is timid and shy, so she will need some work coming out of her shell. She loves other dogs and would do really well having another dog to help her gain confidence. She was not a fan of cats at all- so no cats for her! Due to her shy nature, we ask that kids be older than 6-7. She seems to hunker down if there is too much excitement.PA Kennel License #1333.
