Need to find a good home. 🏡🐶 Gus showed up at my parent’s house while wandering around their neighborhood. My parents have rescued dogs over the years but are in their 70’s and it is difficult for them to have big dogs and do not want to take him to the shelter. He is approximately 7 years old and very sweet. He is very playful and needs a large, fenced backyard or taken for walks. He is heartworm negative and on a heartworm preventative each month. He is around 55 pounds. He is crate-trained and does not bark. He would be a great pet for a person looking for a very gentle, sweet and loving dog.

Welcome Wylie! Our boy was a friendly neighborhood stray who found our shelter by way of the caretakers in the 'hood who only wanted the best for their young charge! We'll take it from here and give handsome Wylie the best shot at his next stop, a home of love and care! Wylie is street smart (and "sweet" smart!), so only knowing the outdoor life means he has no experience inside, but he is a fast learner and can easily master the ways of indoor life...and he already knows that outside is where you do your "business"! Wylie is a friend to other dogs and already knows some basic commands, and that ear volunteers him for way too many tasks!! Pick Wylie as your canine companion--adopt an extra special friend!

We step up. Again.Because when people fail them… we refuse to look away. This poor, sweet boy was found on a country road in Brookshire—nothing but skin, bones, and a will to survive. He is heartbreakingly thin, every rib and hip bone visible… yet still gentle, still hopeful, still trying. Thanks to Steven and Donna, he was safely off the streets these last couple of days. And tonight, thanks to an amazing foster who said YES, he is safe with us. He will see our vet tomorrow to begin the long road back to health. He deserves a chance. HUSKERS This handsome, happy go lucky husky mix is still searching for his chance at FUR-ever with someone! While we do a lot of family hunting dog training, we also assist rescue organizations with training, evaluation and preparation for adoption! His laid back and social demeanor make him a pleasure to be around, and he is ready for a family to call his own. He is great with dogs, kids and people of all ages and sizes. Food motivated and a pleaser, he is constantly willing to learn and has enough play to be an active companion and enough couch potato to live a companion dog life. We can’t say enough good things about this guy and pray that for Christmas this year we can get him into a home of his own! If interested in learning more about him, please reach out!
