Story
Where are our husky lovers?? Our goddess of love and beauty, striking Freya has spent her first year of life as a very shy outdoor-living girl, cautiously sizing up people she meets and evaluating their 'scary/not scary' quotient. With the aid of our dog playgroups, Freya is learning to open up to canine friends which in turn helps her relax and open up to new human friends! While Freya may take a little extra time to warm up, she is a beautiful, deserving pup looking to new humans to show her that life is good and people are kind, and not so scary after all! Be a hero for young Freya and watch her blossom!

Story
🥺🐶 Please Help. This sweet boy desperately needs a new home. Gus showed up at my parent’s house while wandering around their neighborhood. My parents have rescued dogs over the years but are in their 70’s and it is difficult for them to have big dogs and they do not want to have to end up taking him to the shelter. He is approximately 4 1/2 years old. He is fun and sweet and needs a family with a large, fenced backyard because he needs an enclosed space to run or be taken on walks. Gus would especially love to have a family with kids to play and run around with in a fenced backyard. He is heartworm negative and on a heartworm/flea preventative each month. He is around 56 pounds. He is crate-trained and leash trained. He would be a great pet for a person or family looking for a very happy, sweet and loving dog, that loves to snuggle and go on walks.🩷🐾🐾❤️

Story
Meet Whitman Age: Approximately 15 months   Breed: Shepherd mix (possibly Husky)   Size: Large If you're looking for a dog who wants to be your loyal sidekick through every part of life, Whitman may be your perfect match. Whitman has an incredible story of resilience. When he first came to Belle's Buds Rescue, he had been abandoned and was so underweight that his ribs and bones were visible. With the love of his foster family, good nutrition, and time to heal, he has blossomed into one of the happiest dogs you'll ever meet. His foster mom describes him as incredibly smart—one of the smartest dogs she's ever fostered. He learns quickly, loves to stay engaged, and is always paying attention to what his people are doing. He's happiest when he's included, whether that's exploring the backyard, going for a walk, running errands, or simply relaxing on the couch after a fun day together. Whitman is a true "Velcro dog." Once he bonds with you, he'll happily follow you from room to room just to be near his favorite person. He has a gentle, affectionate personality and always seems to have a smile on his face and a wagging tail. One of his cutest quirks is his love for toys. He carefully collects every toy he can find and proudly stores them in his crate like his own little treasure collection. Whitman is dog friendly and does well with cats that are accustomed to dogs. He would thrive in a home with another playful canine companion or an active family who will include him in their daily adventures. At the end of the day, though, his favorite place is right beside the people he loves. Believed to be a Shepherd/Husky mix, Whitman has a shorter, easy-care coat than many dogs of those breeds. His striking all-white coat, paired with one brilliant blue eye and one warm brown eye, makes him as beautiful on the outside as he is on the inside. After everything he's overcome, Whitman is ready for the chapter he's been waiting for all along—a forever family to love him for the rest of his life. Whitman is currently fostered in Texas. Transport is available for approved adopters. ##2577729##

Story
Adopt Bonita! 💜 Bonita is a stunning 6-year-old husky mix with a story — and a heart full of love still waiting to be shared. Originally found with sarcoptic mange, this sweet girl was skin and bones, suffering in silence. Despite her microchip registration, her owners never responded, leaving Bonita heartbroken and abandoned. She’s been with us for five years (since November 2020), patiently hoping that her forever family will finally come along. With her curled tail, sparkling diamond-like eyes, and confident spirit, Bonita is the full package — beauty, brains, and a heart of gold. She adores people and has a fun, social personality that shines through in everything she does. Whether she’s showing off her playful side or leaning in for snuggles, Bonita knows how to make everyone around her smile. She does well with other dogs after slow introductions, but she’s not a fan of cats. True to her husky nature, Bonita has a beautiful howl that adds to her charm — which means she’ll do best in a home (apartments aren’t ideal) with a secure fenced yard where she can play and explore safely. Active, affectionate, and full of life, Bonita is ready to bring endless love and laughter to the family who finally sees how special she is. After all this time, she deserves nothing less. 💜🐾 Are you the family Bonita has been waiting her entire life for? Apply to adopt her today! linktr.ee/zoisanimalrescue

🍑✨ BIG GIRL. BIG PERSONALITY. BIG ENERGY. ✨🍑 Everyone, meet PEACHES! 💜🐾 At 80 pounds, Peaches is not exactly the kind of girl you’re going to miss walking into a room. 😂 She’s big, beautiful, and has enough energy to power the whole neighborhood! 🏃‍♀️ She LOVES to run. 🌳 She LOVES having room to play. 🧸 She thinks squeaky toys are the best invention ever. 🍗 She is VERY food motivated. 🎓 And she is one smart cookie who catches on quickly! Peaches already knows sit, bed/place, and down, and she’s eager to keep learning. With her combination of brains, enthusiasm, and a serious love of snacks, we think she’s going to be SO much fun to train. 🥹 What makes Peaches extra special is that despite her big energy, she’s actually a pretty chill girl. New things don’t seem to rattle her, and she isn’t easily scared or overwhelmed. She’s confident, curious, and ready to experience life alongside her people! Because Peaches is such a big, energetic girl, we think she’d thrive with a family who has a big yard and plenty of room for her to run, play, explore, and learn how to be the best big girl she can be. 💕🌳 As of her current evaluation, we’re looking for Peaches to be an only pet while we continue assessing her with other dogs. We’d also love to learn more about how she feels about kiddos through a proper introduction. This girl is just getting started—and we have a feeling her forever family is going to have A LOT of fun with her. 🍑💗 If you’ve been waiting for a big, goofy, smart, energetic girl to make your life a whole lot more exciting… Peaches has entered the chat. 😎🐶 Think Peaches could be your girl? She is currently available for FOSTER OR ADOPTION! Apply today at linktr.ee/zoisanimalrescue!
