Josh was found in our neighborhood last summer by one of our neighbors. He was just over 1 year old and he was so sweet and very energetic. The neighbors already had a dog so it was difficult for them to manage two dogs. We offered to foster him until his owners showed up, as we figured this was just a case of an adventurous husky on a joyride. Physical and digital signs were posted on every post and forum we could think of. No one ever called. So he has been with us for a little over a year now, he is a very sweet and playful boy, follows commands like sit and down and such. He loves going for his evening walks, car rides, and doggy playdates. Unfortunately, we are starting to get really busy as my kids grow older and their school responsibility increases. I am a single mom and can no longer manage house, kids, and this pup. I really hope we can find him a new home as he is a really good dog, he deserves to be with a family that can be more actively engaged with him.

Some call me a gentle giant. I'm 72 lbs but am a total gentleman. I walk well on leash (I walk a mile every morning), know some commands and just want to be by your side. I like other dogs, although cats are still a mystery. I may have a bit of husky in my background as I do like to talk and sing when the mood strikes but I rarely bark. I am potty trained and LOVE to ride in the car. I'm up to date with shots, neutered and have my microchip. I'm the full package and ready for my forever family.

Meet Missy, a delightful bundle of joy who brings life to any room she enters. Her playful and friendly nature makes her a perfect companion for fun-filled days. Missy loves cuddles and is always curious about her surroundings, though she can be a bit jumpy and cautious at times. She weighs 46 pounds and likes walks and chase. She`s not a pro at leash walking or house training so please be patient as you guide her. Her need for companionship means she`s happiest when surrounded by love and affection. Missy loves mingling with other dogs but is a bit picky about her friends. She is great with children, just a little cautious and jumpy. However, she tends to chase cats, so a cat-free home is safest. Missy`s excitable and energetic spirit requires attention and care, as she tends to race out the door when adventure calls her name. He is heartbreakingly thin, every rib and hip bone visible… yet still gentle, still hopeful, still trying. Thanks to Steven and Donna, he was safely off the streets these last couple of days.
