Story
Meet Toronto, a spirited and curious dog with a zest for life that is inspiring. His friendly demeanor makes him a joy to be around, while his independent nature means he`s content to explore on his own. Toronto is well-mannered, leading gracefully on a leash, and he might know something about house training. Please be patient though if he needs more guidance. He weighs 61 pounds and is brave and gentle, often bold in his actions but always cooperative with his human friends. He tends to be rough with other cats and dogs, so you might bring your dog to meet him. We don`t know how he`ll behave around children but he likes having his head scratched. His alertness and occasional howls add to his charming character. Toronto is ready to bring adventure and affection into his forever home. (tw 8/22/2026)

Story
Meet Mullins, an adult dog who is the epitome of a great companion, boasting a friendly and cuddly nature. He is 65 pounds and is full of energy, personality, and curiosity, always ready for an adventure or a cozy cuddle session on your lap. His idea of a great adventure is chasing lizards and he`ll keep you safe from those pesky critters. He also likes running, toys, walks, and chase. He knows the sit, stay, no, and rollover commands and the more treats you have, the more often he`ll obey. He`s house trained and has a strong presence on the leash and likes to lead the way. Mullins enjoys chatting and can be quite the chatterbox. He`s alert and always on guard, ready to alert you of any danger. He can be picky about his friends so you`ll need to bring your dog to meet him. He is independent but still thrives on human interactions and loves his humans. His only known interactions with children was in a recent adopter`s home where he easygoing but his strength means he is more suitable for a home with older kids. He was returned because of his powerful nature and prey drive. He cannot live with small animals including cats. He is brave and not much bothers this guy. His sweet demeanor makes him a favorite at the vet`s office. Adopt Mullins and bring home endless fun and loyal friendship! (tw 9/2/2026)Foster note 8/11/2026:Mullins is a fine mix of Yin and Yang, intensity and sweetness. He loves belly rubs, and once you start, don’t plan to stop any time soon, as Mullins will give you his trademark laser beam stare and move your hand back with his paw, like “I don’t think we are quite done yet!” When he makes a mistake, before you say anything, he rushes into the crate to time out on his own or grovel onto the floor to beg for your forgiveness with his iconic puppy eyes. It works every time and he knows it. Mullins carries his larger than life presence everywhere with his clumsy goofiness, yet it’s the little things like his first time venturing out to the pool or exploring the world of critters in the garden, that will always bring a smile to your face. Having a companion such as Mullins, who takes very little maintenance, requires a lot of muscles, to ensure a lifetime of love, laughter and adventure! Story
Meet Whitman Age: Approximately 15 months   Breed: Shepherd mix (possibly Husky)   Size: Large If you're looking for a dog who wants to be your loyal sidekick through every part of life, Whitman may be your perfect match. Whitman has an incredible story of resilience. When he first came to Belle's Buds Rescue, he had been abandoned and was so underweight that his ribs and bones were visible. With the love of his foster family, good nutrition, and time to heal, he has blossomed into one of the happiest dogs you'll ever meet. His foster mom describes him as incredibly smart—one of the smartest dogs she's ever fostered. He learns quickly, loves to stay engaged, and is always paying attention to what his people are doing. He's happiest when he's included, whether that's exploring the backyard, going for a walk, running errands, or simply relaxing on the couch after a fun day together. Whitman is a true "Velcro dog." Once he bonds with you, he'll happily follow you from room to room just to be near his favorite person. He has a gentle, affectionate personality and always seems to have a smile on his face and a wagging tail. One of his cutest quirks is his love for toys. He carefully collects every toy he can find and proudly stores them in his crate like his own little treasure collection. Whitman is dog friendly and does well with cats that are accustomed to dogs. He would thrive in a home with another playful canine companion or an active family who will include him in their daily adventures. At the end of the day, though, his favorite place is right beside the people he loves. Believed to be a Shepherd/Husky mix, Whitman has a shorter, easy-care coat than many dogs of those breeds. His striking all-white coat, paired with one brilliant blue eye and one warm brown eye, makes him as beautiful on the outside as he is on the inside. After everything he's overcome, Whitman is ready for the chapter he's been waiting for all along—a forever family to love him for the rest of his life. Whitman is currently fostered in Texas. Transport is available for approved adopters. ##2577729##

Story
Orion is your classic husky boy—full of personality, charm, and just the right amount of sass. He's a 6 yr old, 89lb husky mix. In the mornings, he loves to “talk” and greet you with his signature husky chatter, making sure you know it’s time to start the day. He’s great with other dogs and absolutely loves playing with his foster siblings. After he gets his zoomies out, Orion is perfectly content lounging around the house or claiming a cozy spot on your couch. He’s the best mix of playful and relaxed. If you’re looking for a fun, social, talkative husky who also knows how to chill, Orion is your guy. He’s ready to bring laughs, love, and plenty of husky conversations into his forever home.
