Story
We step up. Again.Because when people fail them… we refuse to look away. This poor, sweet boy was found on a country road in Brookshire—nothing but skin, bones, and a will to survive. He is heartbreakingly thin, every rib and hip bone visible… yet still gentle, still hopeful, still trying. Thanks to Steven and Donna, he was safely off the streets these last couple of days. And tonight, thanks to an amazing foster who said YES, he is safe with us. He will see our vet tomorrow to begin the long road back to health. He deserves a chance. He deserves a full belly, a warm bed, and people who won’t fail him ever again. Belle’s Buds Rescue steps in where others don’t—but we can’t do it without YOU. If you’d like to help this boy’s care, donate toward his vetting, food, and recovery: BellesBudsRescue.org PayPal: paypal.me/bellesbudsrescue Venmo: https://www.venmo.com/u/BellesBudsRescue Apply to foster or adopt: http://bit.ly/BellesBudsApp Thank you for being the village that makes rescues like this possible. Meet Huskers — The Calm Husky You’ve Been Waiting For If you’ve ever loved the look of a husky but worried about the huskytude, Huskers might just be your perfect match. This 3-year-old handsome boy has the stunning black and white coat and fluffy tail everyone loves… but his personality is pure laid-back gentleman. What makes Huskers special:• Great with kids – gentle even with toddlers• Dog friendly – plays well with dogs big and small (even 10 lb pups!)• People lover – especially enjoys hanging out with the guys• Calm & chill – not the typical talkative husky• Sweet, friendly, and easygoing Instead of howling, Huskers prefers to quietly bond with his people, hang out with the family, and enjoy life by your side. He would thrive in a home with kids to love or another dog buddy to play with — or both! This handsome boy is ready to trade rescue life for a forever family who will love him as much as he loves them. Story
Josh was found in our neighborhood last summer by one of our neighbors. He was just over 1 year old and he was so sweet and very energetic. The neighbors already had a dog so it was difficult for them to manage two dogs. We offered to foster him until his owners showed up, as we figured this was just a case of an adventurous husky on a joyride. Physical and digital signs were posted on every post and forum we could think of. No one ever called. So he has been with us for a little over a year now, he is a very sweet and playful boy, follows commands like sit and down and such. He loves going for his evening walks, car rides, and doggy playdates. Unfortunately, we are starting to get really busy as my kids grow older and their school responsibility increases. I am a single mom and can no longer manage house, kids, and this pup. I really hope we can find him a new home as he is a really good dog, he deserves to be with a family that can be more actively engaged with him.

Story
Jaxx came to us with a microchip, but sadly his owners haven`t responded to us and no one has come forward to reclaim him. He’s a calm, independent soul who seems content doing his own thing. He`s easy to leash up and polite overall, but he does pull a bit on walks — mostly just because he loves stopping to sniff every interesting scent along the way. He can be quite the super sniffer! In the play yard, Jaxx is not particularly toy driven and sometimes passes on treats, but he’ll gently take one from your hand when he’s in the mood. With his mellow energy and curious nature, Jaxx would do best in a home that appreciates a quiet companion who’s happy to just hang out and explore the world nose first.
