Story
Thor was a stray until November of last year when we found him on the side of the road with a broken leg. We brought him home, fixed up his leg with a few times of him removing the cast. He was a happy healthy boy with the other dogs we rescued from the area. Unfortunately our family has suffered a huge hard ship and have had to re-home all of our animals, he's the last one. He currently is being true to his husky genetics and has been escaping our yard to go to the neighbors and has been getting the chickens as his snacks. We are unable to put up an electric fence due to the children in the house, but have tried everything possible to keep him safe. He's a social boy and loves other dogs and kids, he's suspicious of cats but has never attacked ours when we had them. We just want him to find a good home where he'll be loved and safe.

Meet my energetic, fun-loving pup who’s turning 5 on April 24,2026! I’ve raised him since he was a puppy. He thrives at dog parks, playing joyfully with other dogs, though he’s protective on leash. He’s great with kids, but small dogs aren’t his favorite. He’s never met cats, so that’s unknown. He enjoys both indoor snuggles and outdoor adventures. I’m looking for a loving home that will give him space to run and affection to keep him happy. He’s playful, loyal, and ready to bring joy to his next family! This is one of the hardest decisions for me but I believe it’s for the best for him.
