Story
Delilah came into our lives after we found her as a stray and made her part of our family. Unfortunately, our circumstances have changed significantly over the years. I now have a young daughter with special needs, and my household has multiple caregiving responsibilities that require much of my time and attention. Delilah has also developed behavioral challenges that we have been unable to safely manage. She has a strong prey drive and has killed chickens and a cat, does not do well with other animals, and has escaped from the yard on multiple occasions. We have made efforts to manage these behaviors, but we do not have the time, resources, or training experience necessary to address them properly. This has been an extremely difficult decision because we care about Delilah and want what is best for her. We believe she would do best with an experienced owner, as the only pet in the household, where she can receive the structure, training, and supervision she needs to be successful.

Meet Casper AKA Cass :) She’s a 2 year old white Alaskan Husky according to her adoption papers. Honestly I do not see much Husky traits in her. Her tail does have grey in it. She was picked up from the shelter as a stray and was about to be euthanized. Cass is the SWEETEST dog I’ve ever had. She’s friendly to everyone and good with other dogs. She loves to play and run and would do well in an active household. She is house trained and good with kids. Unfortunately, my work schedule has changed and I do not have the time to keep up with her.

He’s a 4-year-old male, born to our family dog. He’s grown up in a loving, caring home and is used to being around a patient family.He can be shy, timid, and a bit nervous when meeting new people at first, but once he warms up, his true personality comes out. He’s very playful, active, and full of energy. He can be a little loud and loves to jump when he’s excited.He has a bit of a stubborn streak, but he’s also very affectionate and sweet. Overall, he’s a cute, loving dog who just needs a little time to feel comfortable with new people.

Story
This is Goosey, a silly goose with the cutest, derpiest face. She’s the sweetest girl, good about not jumping on you too much, doesn’t bark/whine, loves the crate and playing in the backyard, and is very affectionate. She loves to try and sit on your lap or sit in between your legs and protect you. She also loves playing with balls by herself and rolling them around the yard. She’s decent on her leash and enjoys walks. She’s okay with baths and enjoys being brushed. She seems hesitant around other dogs but not aggressive, curious and kind towards cats, and sweet towards kids on our walks.Special need: due to her eyes, I think she may be partially blind. She’s small, and less rambunctious/vocal than a standard husky, so not sure what she’s mixed with—maybe Beagle. I rescued her after she ran out into the street and almost hit her with my car. She’s such a sweet girl and I just want to find her a good home. Unfortunately I can’t care for a dog at this time, but I couldn’t just leave her.
