Story
Totem was born August 8, 2022, I was given him by my friend I’ve known my whole life. Totem’s dad is purebred Siberian, and his mom is Husky/Samoyed. Due to my now busy schedule with school and work, I’m unable to give him the love and attention he truly deserves. Believe it or not, he’s a quiet husky 80% of the time, he’s not the most vocal but he loves to lick, everything. I used to walk him, but it’s been awhile since then and is iffy with it since he’s grown accustomed to his backyard. He hasn’t had much experience with other dogs, so I’m not too sure on how he’ll react to others in a new home. He also likes to put his paw on you when you’re giving him attention, I haven’t had much luck getting that to stop.

Story
Hi, I'm Sky! Age: Approx. 1 year Gender: Spayed Female Weight: 40 lbs Breed: Siberian Husky Favorites: Toys, doing zoomies in the play yard, treats Energy level: Moderate Training: None apparent at this time Other important info about me: I’m a spunky, sociable dog that loves adventure! I came to the shelter underweight, dirty, and with an old collar attached to a heavy carabiner and wire. When I first got here it was like I had to learn how to do regular dog things…I didn’t really know what toys were and I wasn’t real sure about the freedom of the play yard. Sadly, it seemed like my life was probably spent on the end of that wire. But hoo boy, once I realized how amazing all that stuff was, I started having the time of my life! Toys are the best, and I zoom around that play yard like I own the place! I’m looking for a forever home where I can experience life to the fullest. Could that be with you? If you are interested in adopting me, please submit an adoption inquiry through this listing, email mbas@montbelvieu.net, or call us at 281-214-9045!

Story
We got Laynie from a dog shelter about a year ago. They said she was 4 years old then. She is great with me and my husband. She is a great watch dog. She is reactive but not aggressive. We are moving, and she needs a new home. She loves to do tricks for treats.

Story
Saint - Husky - Male - 3 yrs - www.twyla.org If you'd like to know more about this dog please visit our website at www.Twyla.org Meet Saint: This GORGEOUS Siberian Husky is about 3 yrs old and has already been through a lot. He was found stray, contracted Parvo, got very sick, beat Parvo and is now healthy, fully vetted and ready for his furever home. Saint is crate and house trained, rides well in the car, LOVE bike rides and leash walks. He gets along well with other dogs, and does well in social settings, like meeting new human and fur friends at Starbucks or such. He loves cuddling on the couch and goes a little nuts for Ice Cream, like he LOVES ice cream . If he sees you eating a strawberry yogurt bar, he wants to share licks. That said, Saint is not quite the Saint his name implies (name comes from the Fleur-de-lis on his head, not his behavior),  as he does have a pretty high prey drive and some resource guarding tendencies  - he likely had to compete for food while he was a stray, so we can't "blame" him. He likes to eat his meals in the privacy of his crate ( he has an XXL crate at his foster and overall respects his bedding and does not tear it up) and he loves to chew on bones, also in his crate as he will guard those. Like any good functioning Husky he can be vocal. Especially when he wants or needs something, like when he needs to go potty, he is quite intense.  He’s not kidding, he needs to go handle his business. So far never an accident. The boy can hold it, but don’t ignore the ask too long Saint is looking for a home with large breed experience, Ideally … experienced Husky person that can handle the kinks and embraces the typical Husky behavior, including the stubborn ("I heard you but I'm not reacting"), the vocal ("Must-pee-NOW") and the Hair. Quite a bit of Hair. Luckily he does not mind brushing. ***Please note: All dogs are fostered in private homes of volunteers, so to meet a dog please fill out an Adoption Application on our website (http://www.twyla.org/adopt/our-adoption-process) so we may setup a private meetup with the dog or coordinate for an Introduction at the next general Adoption Meet and Greet (as listed on our website: (http://www.twyla.org/upcoming-events), as not all dogs attend all Meet and Greets***
