Meet Odessa!! Odessa is 2-3 years old, spayed, and currently around 36 lbs, heartworm negative, and steadily gaining weight under her foster's care. She was found as a stray and brought to Houston's local shelter, thin but otherwise in good health. This girl is the most easygoing dog. She's friendly with every pup, no matter their size, and tries to be besties with every dog she meets. She follows her foster siblings around everywhere and always wants to be snuggled up next to her or her humans. She loves plush toys, and she's got the softest fur. Odessa is also kid-friendly and has done great with her human foster sibling! Thanks to her adorable little underbite, her signature look is her tongue is always sticking out just a bit. We are obsessed!! Odessa already knows sit, shake, and lay down, and she's clearly eager to learn more. She handles new things like a pro too. She lies right down in the car, at the vet and at bars and coffee shops. She is kennel-trained and will sleep quietly all night long in her crate. Odessa is still working on her confidence and would do best with an adopter willing to continue to help her build that. She would love to have another dog friend, but would be great as an only dog. Mochi is absolutely wonderful! She’s super playful with other dogs and loves going to doggy daycare. She’s still a little shy with new people, but she’s coming out of her shell so quickly. And toys?
