At just about 1 year old and 31 lbs, Starburst has already lived through more than any dog should. She was found chained behind a home with several other dogs and somehow survived freezing conditions before animal control rescued her. When she arrived at the shelter, she was emaciated and covered in fleas — yet through it all, she never stopped being happy. Her tail still wiggles nonstop. Her trust in people never broke. And what everyone notices first? - Her adorable pure black tongue - Her tiny size - Her constant desire to be close to her humans Starburst is the definition of a love bug.
