Story
Buddy came to us 6 months ago very thin.He is now healthy and fluffy! He loves attention and does not like being left alone. He will sit next to you and lay on your lap getting rubs and scratches as long as you are willing. He is great on a leash! He loves toys and rawhide beef chew rolls. He is small prey oriented so no chickens! We haven't tested him with cats. I think he would be a great housedog, but we haven't had him in the house with our cats yet. He can sit while accepting treats gently. We would love to keep him, but we have a 200 pound guardian dog who will not allow anything in our backyard. We have a huge front yard separated from the back and a large front porch. Buddy has a comfy bed and a nice dog house on the porch as well as a wicker couch where I sit with him. He loves everyone and plays well with our grandsons. I would love to see him with someone who would love him as I do and be willing to give him the attention a Husky needs. Buddy deserves the best!

Story
Hi, I'm Kya! Age: Approx. 3 years Gender: Female Weight: 46 lbs Breed: Siberian Husky Favorites: Exploring outside, playing with people Energy level: Moderate Training: Knows command “sit,” appears potty trained Other important info about me: I’m about as sweet and gentle as they come, and I love saying hi to new friends! I was roaming around for a few days before I was picked up, and no one claimed me, so it seems that someone left me behind. I’m pretty sad about that, but I’m really excited to find a new home that will keep me forever and let me be a part of the family! I appear to do well with people of all ages, and I do well with other dogs if given time to get to know them. I need to be in a home without cats. If you are interested in adopting me, please call 281-576-2417, email mbas@montbelvieu.net, or submit an adoption inquiry though this listing!

Story
Hi, I'm Mason! Age: Approx. 1 year Gender: Neutered Male Weight: 45 lbs Breed: Siberian Husky/Pembroke Welsh Corgi Mix Favorites: Booty scratches, running around the play yard Energy level: Moderate Training: Knows command “sit” Other important info about me: I’m a one-of-a-kind dog with a personality to match! I’m goofy and always cracking the staff and volunteers up with my antics. I appear to be friendly with people of all ages (though I can be a bit too jumpy for young kids) and other dogs, but I haven’t been tested with cats at this time. Story
He is a very sweet and loyal dog. He is very playful with us and loves to be loved on and cuddle. He is usually good with new animals brought into the home but you have to watch them all in the beginning to make sure that he is good with them and they are good with him. He has done good with coming in to a home with animals already there. He is very territorial about his kennel as it is his safe space and he doesn’t want anyone but himself in it. He is very protective of his food and will growl and snap towards anyone that is trying to take it while he is eating it. He usually does very well with children as long the children aren’t jumping all over him and bothering him when he is trying to relax. However he did bite one of my children. My child got into the kennel with him and Winston gave him a warning bark then snapped and bite him on the face. My child is okay. However my son has autism and doesn’t understand to not do that Due to that we have to let Winston go.
